“I door dashed the Quesabirria with guacamole added, and a side of Rice and a Churro. It was so amazing I didn't even think about taking a picture once I smelled the food. The Quesabirria... Wow. Loved it. The Churro had a strawberry jam type of filling, which I wasn't expecting but I ended up loving it anyway. This was my first experience with them but it DEFINITELY will not be my last. “The East Nashville location is the heart of the operation and part of its charm. The space feels rustic and lived-in, the kind of place where the food—and the people—are the real stars. The service is consistently friendly and genuinely fantastic, adding to the relaxed, neighborhood feel that visitors love. If you’re able, Connie and I strongly recommend finding a seat at the bar and ordering from there. It’s the best way to settle in and soak in the experience and enjoy the hospitality up close.
When it comes to the food, Mas Tacos Por Favor punches far above its weight. The carne molina taco is, without question, the best taco I’ve had anywhere—rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The soups are equally impressive, slow-simmered and packed with comforting depth, and the black beans are outstanding, the kind of side dish you’ll keep thinking about long after the meal. Nothing here feels like an afterthought.“

“Boyfriend and I came to Nashville for the first time for an airsoft tournament and only had the day, so this place checked all the boxes when it came to deciding what to eat and make the best of it. Was not a major fast food chain, their East truck happened to be close to where we were attending, offers low prices, and delicious food! After experiencing I’d note there’s also easy parking, a welcoming environment, fresh ingredients; I had carne asada fries and two chorizo tacos. 100 out of 10 would recommend.“

The breakfast tacos are just amazing (chorizo is my fave) and they are affordable as well…the perfect amount of food for me without feeling overstuffed or wasteful. Excellent Zing Zang Bloody Marys as well! You won’t regret stopping in if you need to kill some time and want to eat well.“

“These were some good tacos I’ve had in a while. My absolute favorite was the BBQ taco, it was packed with so much flavor and so juicy! The steak taco (tender) was good as well as the pollo (it was ok) but the BBQ taco was the highlight of the meal. I also ordered a asada quesadilla and it was delicious with the green sauce.I wish I was given more limes. The tortillas was dry but when you top it with the sauce everything came together.Very clean food truck! Was impressed on the cleanliness for it to be located outside a gas station. 9.2/10“

“Fantastic tacos, great service, and they liquor store nearby had a great tequila selection. Wish I knew about this place earlier.
Tortillas are grilled lightly, cilantro and onions are a bit light, but the addition of their grilled onions and jalapeños make up for that. Green salsa is flavorful, red is good too.
Pastor was the best. Great flavor and textures. Loved it. Asada and chorizo were both solid, good additions. The carnitas was not to my liking as it was more just pulled pork, there was no crisp on any part of it. Flavor was missing. Not the strong point- but everything else was great.
Covered seating and plenty of parking. Great prices.“

“I've lived a 10 minute walk from this place for years, since back when it was the Pure. Back when the food came from that truck. Everything about this place is awesome. From the new ownership of the business, to the absolutely incredible food. It's unassuming, but if you ever find yourself in or driving through hermitage, this is the best spot in town.“

“I've traveled all over Mexico and I speak Spanish. When I found this place, I honestly felt like I was on the street in Aguascalientes or some place similar. Now be braced people. This is not what we think of when we go to Las Palmas or any other conventional Nashville Mexican restaurant. This place does NOT cater to gringos. It is 100% true Mexican and this is where the local Mexicans go to eat. Even the help doesn't speak English, so take your translator app. Seriously, for anyone that would like to know what it's REALLY like to eat in Mexico, this is the place. And the food is fantastic. There will be Mexican music playing on one end of the place and a Novela on the TV at the other end. The other customers will be Mexicans complete with their work clothes and straw western hats. I love it here and I promise that I'm going to be a regular customer.“

“It is located inside the gas station. When you walk in, you want to go to the left. Now you have your cashier in front, and to the right, you'll have the options yo get snacks and drinks like any other gas station. If you want a hot meal. They do have, but if you want a little more for your money, I do recommend eating here. The prices are good and the food will put a smile on your face.“

“If you're looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant, don't miss Taqueria Vallarta in Hermitage, TN. The food is authentic and has not been modified to the American pallet. What I mean is that they don't add all the unnecessary sauces and sugar to cater to the U.S. pallet. This is authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is small and local. They have a small A/C unit in the window while the fan blades slowly spin. It was a little hot in the restaurant but you're not there to keep cool. You're there because you want to satisfy your hunger for real Mexican food. This place delivers with reasonable prices.“
