“We ordered the pork and the no 1. The baguette has a beautiful crust on it while the middle has nice and chewy. The no1. Banh mi has a southern BBQ hint of flavor from the smoked bologna. “Fantastic deli in Nashville! Looking for a good sandwich and this place looked unique. It’s an old machine shop turned into a shopping center. They have coffee, gift shops, and other shopping. The Southern Engine Deli is awesome! I had a Reuben sandwich with a delicious tortilla soup. Highly recommend this place.“
“Met amazing people out here from visiting from out of town and some really incredible volleyball. 2 Courts are awesome with lights. If you have your own ball you can typically come and play earlier than the opening time. Overall loved it. Right beside our hotel.“

“I think I have ate at Jack Brown's more than anywhere else in Nashville. It is hands down my favorite late night go to & just a great spot to take friends & family when they're in town! I always order the Cobra Kai (add bacon) & fries. They have a great beer menu as well. I'm usually too full to order Oreos, but if I do I never regret it. When I'm feeling adventurous I get an Elvis & add Jalapeño Jelly. Service is quick, I never really have a long wait unless I'm visiting during peak dinner hours in the summer. Parking lot is not the best so be warned! There is plenty of street parking around the area so that might be your best bet. Its a nonchalant, easy going dive bar covered in stickers and random decor. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for an easy going meal & great burgers.“
“Our first stop in Nashville was a brewery. Well? It’s because~~~it’s just what we do.We always look for a brewery that has my favorite style of beer ~ Belgian Triple. While I was saddened it wasn’t on draught, it was bottled beautifully. Barrel Aged in Red Wine Barrels from my neck of the woods ~ Huber Orchard & Winery in Huber Indiana. It’s fabulous. The only issue is that I only bought one.I was pleasantly surprised for my draught pints that I didn’t reach for a Blonde style. I opted for the Red Lasso Red Ale with @ 5.4% ABV & the Scotty McNab Wee Heavy @ 8.4% ABV. These styles for me are usually a one & done. However, I could have had a few in one session.The taproom employees are very social & helpful. The flights are hilariously served in muffin pans. However, no flights for me on this day. The brewer even let me have as many free samples as needed to ensure the pint was what I needed & enjoyable.I highly recommend New Heights Brewery.“

“I ordered for take-out, and I my expectations were set pretty low. I've walked by this place a number of times. I thought it was a beer bar, but HOLY HECK, they make great food!! “First let me say we did not know what we were walking into but wanted to try the restaurant. Buds and Brew went above and beyond our expectations. Our wait time was 30-35minutes to be seated. Everything after moved at the blink of an eye. The host explained the menu in detail. The young lady running the dispensary answered any questions we had. Our server Maddie was so sweet and it was her birthday. Which made it so much fun.We had the fried fish with THC buffalo sauce. It was hot and crisp. Fried hard like requested it was absolutely so good. We also hand the fish tacos with wing sauce. The buffalo sauce is not as hot as the wing sauce. It was absolutely so good. We also got the THC mustard, ketchup, and caramel. The skillet brownie was smaller than expected and not hot but with the caramel it was superb. Now things came out a little off. We got our THC shot Cherry Pie. It didn't have a flavor but helped with the experience. We also got the vape in Blue Dream. The Lemon Haze THC shot was amazing. Get the double! Also the grape was good. They can be made into drinks but it does not have alcohol in them because they can't mix the two but you can order the shots on the side.Maddie was a sweet heart. She was super understanding when the brownie came out before all the food but we decided to keep the brownie. We were hungry. Maddie explained everything on the menu as well. She was such a joy and pleasure.They had some large parties in and they still had the food out in no time. It felt like we had just ordered and the food came out. “I guess technically it is a dive bar, but it is not dark or dingey. They do have a full bar and a good drink selection. The food has been hit and miss and they seem to frequently be out of things. The bartenders are usually good and the service is pretty good. Check out this hidden gem (but don't tell anyone).“
“I stopped in around 3:30 for a late lunch on Sunday. Greeter got me seated and my server Valeria brought some water and took my drink order. I knew I had to try the crispy cheese…and I agree that was some pretty darn good stuff. Decided on a pepperoni pizza and it came out pretty quickly as they weren’t that busy. Really good crust that was crispy while the toppings were awesome. The in-house made pepperoni was really good and I loved the spicy kick and the flavor. The beer I selected was a Mexican beer called Toro Y Oso by Xul Beer Company…basically a standard lager but NOT worth the $10 price tag. So for me really good food, but the beer menu for me was weak. At the end of my meal they were starting to get busy, and this place gets very loud so if you’re looking for a quiet place to talk go when they are not busy. I’m sure when the weather cools down their ample outdoor seating is an awesome place to dine.“

“My wife and I stopped by Nashville on our honeymoon in November 2023. We love local breweries so when we stumbled on Crazy Gnome not far from our AirBnb, we had to try it out. What a great experience- the bartender Bill was very friendly and enthusiastic. Have good advice on our beer choices and also lots of tips on visiting Nashville in general. We had a few beers over a couple intense games of chess outside on the patio before leaving. if we come back to visit, I’d definitely come by crazy gnome again.“
“This place is pretty decent for a dive bar. Service was a little slow, but the bartenders were very nice once they paid more attention to customers. The drinks were solid too and fairly priced; I recommend the daiquiri. The decor is all duck themed and they even have a Duck Wall of Fame which is fun. They also have a pool table and darts. It was a little hard to find, but look for stairs next to the hotel and go down those. Also, I felt like there was a pretty bad echo in there making everything much louder. Obviously it's a bar and it's going to be noisy, but the echo made it so I was yelling even though there were less than 15 people there.“

The service could’ve been a smidge better in terms of a checking in when it was time to order as well as the close out checks, but what can you do.“
“I have been a long time customer of The Picnic Tap in the Nashville Farmer's Market, so I was happy to see another location at Hunter's Station. Same place, but not quite as good at the original. Beer selection is good. Many local & regional selections. My go-to is the Picnic Tap Honey Biscuit Blonde. Always a good choice if you can't decide. Last time I visited I tried George, a pale ale from Half Batch Brewing in Hendersonville. Again, always a good selection to choose from. Service is usually good, although sometimes the kitchen is temporarily closed, making it inconvenient if you want to order a snack from there.“

“I really like this place. The food is consistently good. I live nearby, so it’s very convenient. I live so close in fact that when they installed their new *extremely loud* electronic entry bell I can hear it ringing in my apartment every time someone opens the restaurant door. I’ve asked them about turning it down and they said “tough luck.” It’s so loud that I can’t imagine ever sitting in the dining room and eating there when you can get blasted by a blaring alarm tone with every customer who enters.
