We really loved Southern Grist when we first found it. Great craft beers and a great food menu, but as of late, the food menu disappoints. Anyone can do burgers and beers. Bring back the chicken sandwich, bao buns and vinegar potatoes. Your menu made you unique now you’re just like everyone else.
Kid and pet friendly at both tap rooms. Great service, Great food and the beers are out of this world.
The best selection of high quality craft beer in Nashville. IPAs, sours, stouts, porters, brown ale, lagers, and much more. Constantly updating. Crazy fun experimental brews. Great food, friendly staff, neighborhood bar vibe. ‘Insert Juicy Code’ is the best IPA I’ve had from any TN brewer.

Xul Beer Company - Nations (West Nashville) offers the best beer in Nashville, with a great variety of beers on tap and in cans. The staff is always exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the vibe is spacious, chill, and fun. They play great pop punk, post-punk, and indie rock. Though it's not remodeled yet, the beer is as good or better and more affordable than the previous brewery. A standout beer is the pb&j mixtape, which tastes like an uncrustable sandwich in liquid form. The menu looked amazing, and while they do not serve food yet, guests are allowed to bring food in from nearby restaurants. The Dry Aged Burger and Ginger Ale were great, and the customer service was excellent. The 5-ounce pours are perfect for trying a few different things. However, the food menu now disappoints, as it has lost unique items like the chicken sandwich, bao buns, and vinegar potatoes.
