Friday 8 PM is Trivia night! Came here with my daughter and her friends on a cool March evening. They seemed to enjoy the drinks and flights. But all the aluminum chair outside were badly broken (a legal liability if you ask me) and the two patio heaters looked beat to S--- and they said heaters were out of propane. Our team came in third but my advice to management is replace the outdoor chairs before someone gets hurt.

I grab to-go beers when in town, and they never disappoint. The creativity in flavors and variety is always impressive. I’m a big fan of fruited sours over what people may traditionally think of sours, and they have a good selection of them. Plus, their IPAs and stouts… ? hoping to see a return of the cotton candy ipa. Staff has always been polite and attentive, willing to give suggestions.My chief complaint… they don’t have a taproom in Knoxville ?

Violent diarrhea. Never again. Do not recommend. Spent the weekend on an IV recovering. Might have been the skunked brew or could have been the undercooked chicken. The weird bearded guy (Chris Torres) kept making homosexual advances at my 17 year old nephew, and kept saying something about "81 million totally legitimate votes", and kept randomly changing "Biden 2024!" All around bad time.

The staff was friendly and they have a nice outdoor section. The creativity of the beer creations is great, but unfortunately, all the beers our group tried seemed to lack flavor. Most of the beers smell stronger than they taste. Also, the beers were a bit pricy for the quality.

Very nice vibe. Aged burgers were excellent.Service was very friendly and good.I really liked this place. Small menu but interesting items on it.
Great spot to grab a beer! I love that multiple pilsners are offered on tap and the IPAs are delicious as well. Cans are available and I appreciate that they are singled out for building your own 4 pack. Dogs are allowed on the patio, not inside. We'll be returning for sure!

Friendly service and aesthetically pleasing. Initially bummed at the limited menu but both the pimento dip and pimento sandwich were delicious. I wish I could snag that sandwich for lunch daily. Also, appreciated the N/A Pilsner (satisfying crisp) since I don’t drink anymore. I love supporting good beer and local breweries and I can’t wait to return for dinner some time.

Good variety of beer and decent taproom. Went recently for the first time in over a year and I'm not sure what is going on with their staffing situation but the guys behind the bar were extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. Seemed like I was bothering them every time I went for a beer. No desire to go back anytime soon.

Like the beer selection, love the food!Southern Grist, L and Lauter are a great compliment to one another. Excellent micro beers paired with awesome southern comfort food. Either of the locations are a must visit.

Based upon food and beverages the experience was 4 stars. We ordered 8 drinks + 2 apps which was fine except one of our apps (the olives) clearly had a bit of mold in the food.When we brought this to the attention of the staff on the afternoon of 07.07.23 we were met with indifference bordering on contempt that we were served unsafe food for consumption.We did not pay for the olives which was the absolute minimum; the person behind the counter did not care and declined to improve our experience in any additional way despite being asked directly. I will not be coming back the next time I am in town visiting due to the interactions and attitude with the staff.
