“Rare are the breweries that produce great beer at reasonable prices without reliance on gimmicks like cutesy cans and silly names. Czann’s is a brewery stripped of the bells and whistles that modern craft brewers constantly rely on for luring people into their taprooms. The brewers at Czann’s understand the elements of good beer and don’t need to dump dried fruit or powdered peanut butter into a batch to give it a complex flavor profile. The test of a great brewer is the quality of the beer he brews with the simplest ingredients, not the novelty of the ingredients he uses in brewing it.The beer served at Czann’s is delicious, no-nonsense, and quite simply the best beer brewed in Nashville.“
“Not one to leave reviews but Pearl diver is a GEM. Vibes are off the charts, cocktails are are sensational - and Virginia!?!?! She’s the best server/bartender I’ve ever had. Seriously so contagious and I think she’s a rockstar. Keep it “
“Found this cute little place on a pub tour. Great vibe and cozy. Perfect place to go for a drink to get away from all the chaos of lower broadway. Plus they have these amazing frozen shots. Highly recommend you visiting this lost gem. Staff and owner were very welcoming!“
“super cool spot! unassumingly chill considered its on 12S but they have excellent service, reasonable prices, and great food! get a bloody mary, bleu potato wedges, and blackened tilapia tacos!! also keep an eye out for the daily drink specials like 2 for 1 beers on tuesday, $5 mules on wednesday, and $5 mimosas / $7 bloodys on sunday! worth noting that they have an extensive vegan / gluten free menu as well“
“I do recommend but maybe the owner was having a bad night on Friday night. Had never met him before but he was super unfriendly to customers. Maybe he was just not wanting to be there. Never smiled, never spoke to anyone that I saw and that is not the way to run a business. Greet you customers with a smile, thank them for coming in, and tell them you hope to see them come back soon. He was on stage playing part of the evening but I was there before that and after that. He would be the only reason I wouldn't want to go back in there, but will give it another try - as I said maybe he was just having a bad night.“
“Great low key burger joint in the gulch with a bunch of great beers on tap. I recommend popping over during a nice day to sit on the patio. Dog friendly and always offer a water bowl and treat. Everyone who works here is great and the manager always makes sure you’re enjoying your time and meal. Great spot!“
“Staying in a nice unit on the 6th floor of the Margaritaville Hotel with 6-8 inches of snow outside. It was great to be able to go for food at a fun place on the 4th floor. Great service. The nachos were good but would have been much better if they were hot and the grated cheese was melted. We came back for dinner and got the cheeseburger and fries, which were delicious!“
“Went over to the Pub for happy hour and had some appetizers and a few cocktails after work. Great drinks, friendly service, and delicious food! Highly recommend the smoked old fashioned, sweet potato fries, and pretzels and beer cheese!Parking: Parking garage on the same street with plenty of paid parking.“
“Great music and fantastic food and service! We were staying nearby and stopped in for music and appetizers. Both were amazing. It was so good, we returned for dinner and the catfish and meatloaf were both delicious. And the beignets, you HAVE to get the beignets! Also the staff was very friendly and even took the time to give us some advice on some of the things we planned to do around Nashville. If you're in Nashville, go here!!! They even have a parking lot (which is painfully rare it seemed).“
“We had a long day of traveling with our dog and kids. We sat on the patio and had a phenomenal dinner - borbounyaki wrap (might have been my favorite!), watermelon salad (probably one of the best salads!), fish and chips, and cheeseburgers. I can’t wait to be in town again to eat here another time!!“
“April 2024. Our Air BnB is virtually in the parking lot of the Geodis Soccer stadium. Our group took advantage of the proximity and attended the Home Game on Saturday night. Instead, I took the opportunity to meet up with my cousin John. Because the huge stadium has so little parking, the surrounding neighborhood is flooded with cars for the game. I walked out a mile to Wedges assuming John wouldn’t be in Game traffic. We caught up about our families and ate chicken ranch pizza. Then went for a ride around Nashville. John often shows me where historic records were produced and where he met various performers. Then he dropped me off and I walked up the hill to the stadium hoping to get in for the last few minutes. No dice.“
“Broadway sucks. Picnic Tap doesn’t.Do the right thing. Support local. If you want a place where the beer flows like wine, where beautiful people instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano, look no further than Picnic Tap.The team is awesome and the customers are a great mix of local regulars and tourists hoping to have some great local craft beers and conversation.Parking: Parking is where you park.“
“Wow! The staff is amazing and accommodating. Danny was on the tap line and offered the best suggestions for beer. We were there with a large family group to watch the NCAA women’s basketball final four and they remained open longer so we could finish watching the game. The pizza was amazing and the laughs infectious! Go here and have the time of your life!“
