SS Gai is a small shop located in an outdoor food hall, along with other local eateries. I love the concept, especially when eating on a nice sunny day in the fall.
The food is delicious, prepared to order, and a great value. I got the 2-piece fried chicken meal, which came with a bunch of fresh veggies, two Thai inspired dipping sauces, sticky rice, and a drumstick and thigh garnished with fried shallots. I threw away the fork and knife and attacked the meal with my hands.

Absolutely delicious! The Gai Tod is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy, tender on the inside. I can see why it’s Michelin-recognized—so well deserved!
