“First: I’m extremely picky about my lattes. I am sensitive to overcooked (burnt taste) beans and undercooked (sour taste) beans. I have gone here repeatedly for iced lattes and they have always provided the perfect texture and balance. They are by far (and I don’t say this lightly) providing the BEST espresso in Nashville. Second: What truly makes this cafe great is that it’s the only cafe in town that makes you feel like you’re wanted. All of these cafes built in the last 20 years are hard, cold and sterile. If you’re younger than 40, you probably don’t even remember that cafes used to be warm, social, inviting and a home for many people. New cafes are so uninviting and I feel it’s done on purpose to get you to leave so more customers come in. But the Daily Grind? It’s homey, has couches, the walls are filled with all sorts of crafty love and plants and there’s a poster on the front that lets you know this is a SAFE space for all. It’s reminiscent of the old days when you had warm social spaces where you could spend hours every day with friends playing games, drawing, talking and no one glued to their phones. I hope this cafe gets to expand and provide even more of this nostalgic homey feel and bring that needed community experience back to Nashville. “As if the White Chocolate Vanilla Frappe wasn't enough, the atmosphere is pretty awesome and actually reminds me of my days in Seattle. A plethora of choices await you from the drinks to the pastries and the entrees, which I'm looking forward to trying. To top it all off, Keith is about as mellow and nice a person as can be, which makes going there an even more pleasurable experience. “My wife visited here about 6 months ago and got coffee on her way to the airport and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. We’re here for New Years and she made sure we came by. I got an iced white mocha, which is better than anyone I’ve ever had anywhere else and we also shared a Biscoff cheesecake which was absolutely incredible. The staff is super friendly and the coffee is amazing, you can’t go wrong if you come check this place out.“

“This store is amazing I went there twice and one thing I will say is they value their customers a lot !! I got a strawberry watermelon lemonade refresher and it was awesome, I also got some timbits and a donut that looks like a snowman and it was amazing, Dhara , she is a helpful person , Tarika was also great , she was new but did a great job at the register , the latte was also amazing . “We’re major coffee drinkers and have lived in New York, Seattle, and now Nashville, so our bar is pretty high. Crema absolutely lived up to the hype. The coffee was outstanding—easily some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Really well-balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

The space is small and gets very busy, which was obvious when we visited. Service was fine—efficient and professional, though not especially warm. That said, given how packed it was, it’s understandable.

If you’re serious about coffee, this place is 100% worth a stop. We’ll definitely be back for the coffee alone.“

I WISH I had a coffee shop like this where I live. I would never leave. Everyone seemed to know everyone that was local and they were so friendly with one another. “I went to White Bison Coffee in 1101 Long Hollow Pike, Gallatin, and entered the drive thru, nobody was there, then I went inside and the lady was not wearing her earset to take drive thru orders so she was never aware that I was in the window waiting to make my order. She refused to serve me a coffee. When I asked for coffee, she pointed to another coffee station and said, " There is coffee too." Referring to the regular gas station self served coffees. She had no name Tag, so I couldn't identify her name. But she she had blond hair and a leg casket. Terrible service. The coffee ia good, the team members need training.“

He sources beans from Rwanda, and the cup I had was excellent: nicely balanced acidity with a smooth, nutty flavor that stood out without being overpowering.

“Their sourdough bagels are delicious and they have so many flavor varieties which is always fun to choose from! Although they do have sit in dining all their food and coffee is served takeout style and their tables and chairs usually have some sort of food scraps from previous guests so that it doesn't encourage me to stay to eat. It's a very nice and quiet spot with great lighting and there staff seems nice, but don't do much more than smile and take your order. To be clear that is totally fine, but it just doesn't encourage me to stay much and enjoy the space. The bagels are absolutely delicious and their coffees are pretty good so I've still gone plenty times and will continue to go!“
