I had the ham and cheese croissant and the Santa coffee (peppermint mocha) with almond milk. the croissant was buttery, flaky and delicious! the coffee was delicious and very even flavored. will definitely be going to see them in person and ordering again!“

“One of the few local coffee spots. Good coffee at reasonable prices. The staff and owner are friendly. My only complaint is that the baristas need more training. It always takes a long time to get my drink since there’s only ever one person working and the consistency of the drinks really vary. Sometimes they are great, but other times, like today, they are way off. That coupled with longer wait times are the reason why I am sometimes more likely to order from a chain coffee shop even though I’d prefer to shop local. To their credit, today he could tell I was unhappy with my drink, and offered to comp it without asking. So the customer service is good. I just think the baristas need a bit more training so there’s consistency no matter who is working. I’m rooting this shop!“

“Excellent espresso drinks. Had a latte that was naturally sweet and creamy, with beans that clearly have an origin that is distinctive. Nice spot to drink, with plentiful indoor and outdoor tables. My latte was a bit pricey, at $6.56 for a large (even comparing to my not-cheap home coffee shops in the upper west side of NYC) but the value is there for a cup that someone clearly cared about.“

“I got a vegan burrito & an iced americano and it was soo good. No, seriously - that vegan burrito was divine and I need for that to constantly stay on the menu. Only downside was no visibly marked/labeled vegan pastry options - a must!

“I would give 10 stars if I could from the awesome food to great Cuban coffee and pastries that are made in house with every penny but in addition to this their stores design was very neat and I had to ask when they opened cause I thought it was brand new as a chef the cleanliness and order in which they operate is top notch hope they continue to grow we need more of these mom and pop shops before Starbucks is the only option left they cannot compare. ❤️“

“I love 8th and Roast. It’s my fave coffee shop in Nashville that I’ve discovered so far. I’m disappointed to discover Little Bear Latte was only a seasonal beverage because it’s the only drink I ever got there. I’m not a huge fan of the new seasonal drink. So I’m not sure what to drink there now. :( I love the cozy, relaxing atmosphere and they have a great loyalty card program. 8th and Roast is a must.“

“The staff are awesome, the bagel sandwiches will blow your mind. Tons of different options to choose from, both bagels and schmears. They have different local options for drinks and a full coffee bar. There's also a little basket near the bathrooms for kids books and activities. We'll definitely be back and recommend this place for years to come.“

“Move over Starbucks.
First time trying them and was very skeptical.
I have worked in a coffee shop and managed others for over ten years and have very high expectations of what good coffee is. I was only going to use my espresso machine, pour over, and other coffee contraptions, but gave this location a try because hadn’t tried it before.
Their cold brew is fantastic. Their crew is similar to old school Starbucks when they use to try on customer service; very friendly group. And they’re fast and efficient. Very good first impressions ( I gone now 5 or so times ) and they are going strong in their 5 stars.

The their annihilator if you like Frappuccino’s. ( which i hate, but I liked this drink )

The set up of the coffee shop created a cramped space to wait for your drink if there’s a back up, and there definitely was today. During our time waiting we noticed at least three people who had come up with issues with their order (checking status after waiting so long, order given to wrong customer, etc.) The baristas were very friendly, working hard, and I loved the mission of the coffee shop, so I’m hoping this was just a bad morning.“

When ordering my latte, they only offered vegan options (oat, almond, cashew). I picked up a pumpkin coffee cake and a wrap too, and everything was sooo good. My favorite meal in Nashville. “Love this place. I get my pedicure right next door at Luster nails so it’s a doubly pleasant experience! My favorite mural in Nashville also graces their parking lot. Very comfortable and friendly with a nice covered outdoor patio so it’s great rain or shine! Friendly staff and a nice variety of coffee, tea, smoothies, frappes, breakfast sandwiches and pastry.
