Excellent cuisine and atmosphere. Family loved the outing. If your first time, pay mind to the small sign by the door as you enter, instructing you to take a seat, grab a menu and order at the counter. Food will be served to your table when ready.
It's first come first serve seating. You order at the counter. Get your own drinks, refills and to-go containers. They have good food, but they changed their macaroni and cheese recipe and not for the better IMO. The couple of times I've been there it seems they have regulars. It's a small restaurant. I'd recommend giving them a try.

My husband and I seen and heard about Lagniappe on Tennessee Crossroads on PBS. We went with friends (one who is from Louisiana) today and we were by no means disappointed. The staff were very friendly and we even talked to Mike, the owner, who was very pleasant to meet and talk with. We all had plenty of food leftover to bring home to eat for this afternoon.
