Verna Café & Bar is located in a renovated old historic home in Midtown. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. The food and drinks are amazing and fairly priced. The menu is fabulous with creative dishes. The baby cakes are gluten free and delicious, and the black sesame matcha latte is wonderful. A lunch of steak fried rice was delicious and filling. The building is gorgeous with unique features. The owner Bo is friendly and accommodating. Service from Shane was next level and attentive. The restaurant is LGBTQIA friendly and dog friendly. Be aware they close from 3-5 to reset service. Guests will definitely come back to try it as a bar.
