Waffle House in Nashville

“Not too busy when we went on a Wednesday morning at about 6:30 AM. Service was kind of slow though. Bacon was not cooked properly. I requested extra crispy and the ends on both sides on both pieces were not cooked at all hardly. Everything else was good. Had to wait on coffee refill and not sure why. Like I said it wasn’t busy.“

“KyKy and the unit manager (sorry, I didn’t get your name!) were phenomenal! Friendly, welcoming, and gave us everything we wanted - including extra, extra well-done bacon! Y’all do it right and made our return home from visiting our grandkids in Washington, DC, great! 👍🏻“

“(Lebanon Pike Waffle House) I want to personally speak about the lady who served me — Jasmine. I showed up during mid-morning and I saw they were handling multiple to-go orders. I sat at the counter and Jasmine immediately got me a drink while I waited for my server. When a server didn’t come after about 5min, Jasmine came back and said she would serve me personally. She kept my drinks full and treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. She made me feel so welcome. I just wanted to give her personally a positive review. She is such a welcoming presence and asset to your team. Whatever you need to do, keep her around!!“

“The main experience was great, with an attentive server, fast drink service and good food (my husband and I shared an All-Star platter). Because of medical issues, I'm limited in what I can eat so I only had grits and toast, both of which were properly cooked.

There were two food issues, one of which was our fault. My husband likes to eat his waffle with his eggs, and had to wait until the eggs were barely warm, because the waffle didn't appear right away. He didn't tell the server he wanted that, so it was our fault. The second issue was one I've run into before - I asked for Apple or Mixed Fruit jelly. I received the mixed jelly, and apple butter. I explained the difference to the server, not in an accusatory way, because some people don't realize there is a difference. Next time I'll mention that up front as this has now happened at multiple places.

I was saddened to see that the restaurant has had to close it's doors to in house seating after dark, but they do have pick up available at night.

The place was clean without smelling of cleaning solutions, was laid out in a nice way, and had friendly staff.

We'll stop there again! Note that the stars total should be about 4.75 not 4, but partial stars are not an option.“

“This is by far the best Waffle House I have ever been to. You can tell that the staff take pride in where they work. Food is always on point and the restaurant is clean. It can get pretty busy on the weekends but that just shows people love it.“

“We don't have Waffle House in San Antonio, so when I travel I love to eat there. I love my Pecan Waffle, Scrambled Eggs with Cheese, Extra Crispy Hash Browns, Bacon-Sausage Split and Raisin Toast. Coffee is good and Strong, just like I like it! Dad loves Waffle House too ☺️“

“We came because we were in a rush but would go again just because it was actually good.Deb was friendly towards our family and even gifted me a REAL FLOWER on Mother's Day! Everything tasted fresh and cooked properly. It was quick, affordable and I was surprised at the quality of the meal.“

“I LOVED this location. I’m a big Waffle House fan to begin with and I just moved to this area. Staff was super friendly, they were very busy but stayed on top of everything. Even offered me a free waffle because the wait was long. Very cool crew! Manager was so sweet. Definitely will be back!“

“I work really close by and my team and myself order regularly from here, not just because it's close, but because of the WONDERFUL service. I have to go in and order (cant ask for my chicken to be cooked well done, nor can you order omlets on the app (booooo btw)) but it's always a pleasure to walk in and see everyone working as a team, and they are always pleasant, and quick to get our food cooked right and us out the door!!!!!!“

“It was good, not the best I've had. Waitress seemed confused when trying to give the order to the cook, which messed up the meal... but the food was good.
** update- had a different waitress, (Carrie) she ended up being the one who also cooked our food, looked like she was the only one there, when another person from a different shift showed up for an order, she was not shy at voicing her opinion about how bad the store looked And what wasn't done, cleaned etc. What person doesn't like to work etc. No offense, I understand this kind of thing happens in the work place, all the time, but I don't want to hear about it when I'm trying to eat And just enjoy some time out.“

“Stopped here with 15 coworkers to grab breakfast before a long day of meetings. Snoop, Kenzie and the rest of the staff were very polite and attentive. Food came out fast and orders were correct. They checked up on us frequently and took care of all of our needs. A+ service and presentation. If you like Waffle House as much as I do, I recommend eating here. It's a prime example of WH brand standards being upheld.

“Came to the Waffle House after Cracker Barrel was short staffed and didn't have enough waiters/waitresses to serve it's customers. Upon entering the restaurant the atmosphere was clean. There was only one other family in the restaurant. I sat at the counter. I was waited on as soon as I entered. I ordered the All star with sausage and grits. The grits weren't the best. I couldn't eat them because they had a bad smell and taste. Outside of the grits everything else was good.“

“A Waffle House off of a freeway on the outskirts of the city, so it’s less polished feeling and regularly has bikers and other roadies stopping by. Food is good and cheap. Contrary to their name, their waffles aren’t the best item on their menu. The eggs and hash browns are good.“

“I love this place. It’s close to home so we go often. However I don’t recommend going past closing time and doing take-out. They completely messed up our order and we didn’t realize until we got home so my poor hungry husband had to drive back to get what they forgot to put in our bag, and now there is a line and looks like a shift change at 9 PM.“

“Had it for the first time and I personally have never liked breakfast diner hashbrowns EVER but they were very delicious and cooked thoroughly and with the steak! I cant wait to try the rest of the menu Olivia and the cook was very nice and helpful from the start and provided top notch service 10 out of 5 experience thank you !“
