“Cool little spot with good food and some interesting dishes. We tried several different things and had a pretty good experience overall.

We started with the bao buns, fries, and fried dumplings. The bao buns had a little too much mayo for my taste, but they were good overall. The dumplings were different than what I was expecting, but really good. The fries were... well, fries. 😂 Nothing special there.

For our entrées, we got the Pad Kra Pow, which is Thai minced beef stir fried with chili, garlic, and basil, served with rice and a fried sunny side up egg. It was good and had a nice amount of spice, but I felt like it was missing some kind of sauce on the side, maybe soy sauce or another Asian style sauce. I think that would have added a little something extra to the dish.

Our other entrée was the Noodles, which are biang biang hand pulled noodles with chili cumin brisket, trumpet mushrooms, and yu choy. Basically, it’s one long, continuous noodle that comes with a pair of scissors so you can cut it into pieces as you go. This dish was mouth numbingly spicy, but SO good. It was easily my favorite thing we had all night.

Overall, I’d definitely go back if I were in the area. I would absolutely get the Noodles again, but I’d probably skip the other dishes we tried and would want to try some new things instead. Definitely a cool spot worth checking out if you’re looking for something a little different!“

“We had a few friends out to go to dinner at Sunda. To start this review, Mario and Justin were awesome. It really seems like the staff works very well with Mario and has a good time. Our group gave a some creative license on the food to Justin, who was serving us. The whole experience was one of a kind and truly exceptional. We had a few bottles of wine and some of the sake. Everyone at the table enjoyed what Mario, the manager, suggested for appetizers. We started off with some interesting sushi, spicy edamame, and shishito peppers. One creation called the Great White was beyond belief. Try it if you are in. A few more sushi creations went around the table were the salmon crudo, the yuzu tuna, the tuna truffle pizza, and the smoke show (which was a cool little presentation). My wife had the Tom Yum Sea Bass which was short of amazing. I had the pancit canton with chicken, which was the simplest of all of the adult dishes. Justin brought out a huge "boat" of sushi for one of my friends. It was probably one of the most adventurous and tasty sushi dishes I have ever seen. If you have kids, you know it means a ton when your child really loves their dinner. Mario suggested a salmon bento box, of which the kid loved every bite. The lychee mochi ice cream was a great dessert to end with. Mario sat with us for a few discussing the food and my child trusted his opinion on food so much she tried her first, second and third salmon nigiri! To finish we had the Ube pie and the bibingka cake because I like Ube and Filipino food. The pie was great but the bibingka cake took the show. It had an amazing flavor profile. The service was probably the best I have ever had. The staff's knowledge of the menu and what will pair well was on point. We cannot wait to go back after the holidays! Billy Dec did an amazing job with this restaurant and definitely has the right staff for Nashville. Be adventurous with your food and enjoy your experience here. You will not regret it! “Trying to explain Curry Boys BBQ to someone who’s never eaten here (insert funny question mark because I genuinely don’t know how to describe it 😂) makes me sound absolutely crazy. But seriously, this is hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had. The flavors, the combinations, EVERYTHING. It’s truly indescribable. My husband and I even bought their cookbook in hopes of recreating some of this magic at home, but I have a feeling nothing will ever compare to the real thing. 😂 You just have to experience it for yourself!“

“We went for our anniversary, the very first restaurant I’ve ever been to that actually acknowledged it after asking at the reservation! The staff was awesome! The waitress was friendly, attentive and was just perfect! The food was outstanding with portion sizes just a little bit bigger than we could eat which I like, not so much I have to take half home. And the best part was when our waitress brought out a dessert and wished us a happy anniversary! It was a perfect chocolate covered chocolate mousse, perfect size for us to share! Beef soup (I forgot the name): nice and comforting but it was more on the lighter side in flavor. I’ve had this exact same soup at other Korean restaurants and they were more flavorful.

“My family and I have been going to Asihi for a few years now and we always enjoy it. The restaurant is pretty big and has a few areas which can make it great for having parties. My family had a birthday party for my mom there and it was a great venue for it. They have a pretty large buffet with lots of options even great for those who might be a little on the picky eating side or bringing children. My family and I especially like to go whenever we have people visit especially from out of the country because of all of the variety. Outside of the regular buffet they also have sushi and freshly made hibachi available. It’s all great for individuals or to even get some things to share like my family likes to. Parking is super easy with a big lot right out front. Also just a shout out to Annie since she’s always so great whenever we go.“
