“It’s been a number of years since we frequented Kayne Prime due to a move out of state. Last night’s experience was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. You also upped your game with the cute goat cheese tarts and palette cleanser. Last night was truly an experience above the excellent meal you are known for. We are blessed to have dined in many high end restaurants and last night you especially rose to the top. Must shout out our server Matthew. He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. “We visited Baby Chan for lunch after loving the restaurant Kisser. We were so pleased with our experience and the food! My first recommendation would be to get a reservation unless you just want to grab pastries and coffee at the walk up. We started our meal with the taro Swiss cake roll and it changed my life. It tasted like eating a taro milk tea, which I love! It was lightly sweetened and had a very strong taro flavor (in a good way)! We also ordered the Arnold Palmer’s which are green tea and yuzu lemonade. Yum! For entrees, my husband got the salmon chirashi and I had the crab soba! My husband loved his dish and raved about the salmon to rice to roe ratio. They did not skimp on the good stuff! His only qualm was he wanted a little more spice so he used some of my wasabi. I also loved my dish, which I had great flavor and was fun to eat. Would definitely recommend Baby Chan!“

“Fantastic meal! Love the menu. We sat outside but beautifully elegant ambience inside. About an hour or so before we walked over to eat I stopped in and got a menu and the ladies at the hostess podium were super kind. When we came back we were again met by a very helpful employee, Delilah. She sat us immediately and ended up being our server for the meal. She was thorough and knowledgeable. The service and the meal were perfect! We will absolutely be regularly returning and we will be requesting Delilah every time. Great experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone! P.S.- They do lunch from 12-3pm, happy hour (including apps) from 3-6pm. And apparently they have a rooftop (kid friendly) open on Friday & Saturday evenings until 12am.“

“Hidden gem is right! We went for Thai and had the pad ke mao (drunken noodles) and red curry. The litmus test, imo.

Both were excellent! I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu.
She was an excellent host and cook and the quality of ingredients top quality, and flavors were all spot on. Even the water is filtered and good.

It's been here 3 years and my first time. I am surprised I haven't noticed it before. The secret is out now.

“Been going here for years with my family. The owners will always remember you and he's always super friendly. My suster and I went the other day after not seeing him in months and he immediately recognized us, asked about our mom and dad, and greeted us like family. The food is excellent and stays a solid consistent quality. I recommend the Bellevue roll, Samurai roll, and their lunch special is pretty good too.“

“We tried this lovely and delicious restaurant last night. The first thing I learned was they have two menus- one for sushi/sashimi and one for Thai cuisine. This review is about the Thai menu choices. Their menu is available online. There are many different and delicious sounding rice and noodle dishes with veggies that you can order with your choice of chicken, meat, seafood, or tofu. Their diverse menu also offers a tempting selection of fried rice dishes, appetizers, soups, and desserts. They ask you to let them know if you would like your dish to have some heat, and how much. Prices are comparable with or even less than other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. My brother chose red curry, made with coconut milk and mouth wateringly good with veggies, chicken, and jasmine rice. I had pho, a Vietnamese soup. The huge and certainly dinner-size bowl of oh so good luscious broth was filled with noodles, veggies, pork that I chose, and basil, bean sprouts, and slices of jalapeño pepper and lime on the side to be added as desired. I dumped them all in and dug in. Ummm umm SO good, YUM! We had mango sticky rice for dessert. If you like mangos, I’d say this dessert is not to be missed! The rice IS sticky. In fact it’s stuck together- sweet and especially delicious with the mango. The staff was extremely helpful, welcoming and warm and friendly. They enthusiastically answered my questions. We ate in the restaurant. Very clean and attractive. I completely recommend it! We really enjoyed the place, the people, AND the food. Try it!“

“Large portions at reasonable prices without losing quality. We visited from Gainesville Florida and travel and this place has the best miso soup. Their sushi was amazing and their portion were large. The staff was welcoming and friendly. If your from out of town and want to visit the local spot, this is it.“

“7pm on a Saturday night, not busy but slow service. The goyza tasted "fishy" (do they put seaweed in the goyza here? That seems strange if they do), the sushi was ok but was unevenly cut leading to some comically large bites. The ramen comes with a fried egg, which just doesn't hit as well as a marinated ramen egg and the katsu pork I'm pretty sure what just a sysco pre-breaded pork chop which wasn't especially tender or flavorful. I have had better experiences here in the past but it fell way short of the mark this time. Also they seem to have some strange obsession with putting asparagus in almost everything, so if you love asparagus this may be your jam but I don't find it works great in sushi rolls.“

“Went for a friend‘s birthday so we had about 15 of us. Six of them were kids. You would think that would be a lot to handle, but nope, not for these guys. He kept the kids super entertained as well as the adults. My goodness they did an incredible job. Quick service and delicious food.“

We started with Squid Salad and Gyoza then ate our way through totally yummy Crab Bang, YumYum, Eel Nigiri, White Tuna, & Sweet Shrimp… crunchy and delicious! Then we topped it off with Mochi ice cream! Every bite was better than we’ve had in a long time on the road! We had a “Trainee” server…and the rest of their friendly staff helped her provide superior attention! So glad we found KOI SHSHI THAI early in our stay herein Nashville! We’ll be back!“

“Food is amazing, the ribs are the best. Chef said they sous-vide them for 24 hours before grilling. Service was exceptional. The bartender was superb, and quite handsome. Only caveat was the aprons they were wearing looked gimmicky. Definitely will be back tomorrow.“
