As someone who recently came back from Japan dining at Kisser was a bit of a reminder of the great flavors and unique Japanese cuisine we experienced there.

This is a must stop for anyone looking for a casual date night with some delicious Japanese dishes (and some creative additions).“

“It’s been a number of years since we frequented Kayne Prime due to a move out of state. Last night’s experience was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. You also upped your game with the cute goat cheese tarts and palette cleanser. Last night was truly an experience above the excellent meal you are known for. We are blessed to have dined in many high end restaurants and last night you especially rose to the top. Must shout out our server Matthew. He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for going above and beyond. It was a night and meal to remember!“

“Present Tense has some of the best vibes on the block. Food was amazing, food was incredible… AND THE SERVICE was out of this world. David, Mikey, and Taylor went out of their way to make our experience incredible. David made us custom cocktails based on our preferences and he hit every mark. I will be visiting present tense on a weekly basis at this point based on the service alone (the great food and cocktails are just an added benefit).“

“Gluten free friends, the wait staff here were very helpful and knowledgeable. The food is flavorful and delicious. Lots of good choices. We shared the edamame, cashew salad, crispy rice and salmon. All very good! Others in my party had sushi and said it was wonderful. Cocktails/mocktails were amazing. Highly recommend reservations.

Of course you have to save room for the outside walk up ice cream window!“

“Fantastic meal! Love the menu. We sat outside but beautifully elegant ambience inside. About an hour or so before we walked over to eat I stopped in and got a menu and the ladies at the hostess podium were super kind. When we came back we were again met by a very helpful employee, Delilah. She sat us immediately and ended up being our server for the meal. She was thorough and knowledgeable. The service and the meal were perfect! We will absolutely be regularly returning and we will be requesting Delilah every time. Great experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone! P.S.- They do lunch from 12-3pm, happy hour (including apps) from 3-6pm. And apparently they have a rooftop (kid friendly) open on Friday & Saturday evenings until 12am.“

“Hands down the best sushi in town. The owner is amazing and always greets me by name when I walk in. She truly makes it feel like home. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. If you have not tried it yet, you are missing out.“

“The ramen here is excellent. I’m not usually into spicy ramen, but the spice they use here actually tastes really good and doesn’t feel overwhelming. The hibachi is solid too, but it doesn’t really stand out compared to other places I’ve had. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially since there are other spots nearby that charge more for similar food and quality.“

“We had a fantastic dinner at Asahi tonight! The owner is so sweet, funny and attentive. I ordered two sushi rolls with miso soup and my husband had the Pad Kee Mao. Both were excellent; the Thai noodles in particular were so flavorful. It’s hard to find somewhere that has both delicious Thai and Japanese cuisine. Service was excellent, fast and very attentive. We will be back!“

“The weekday lunch specials from 11am-3pm and the expansive choices they offer under their specials cannot be beat! It’s a delicious and satisfying prix fix meal in an old world Japanese setting complete with aquarium and Japanese lanterns. The service is also excellent!“

“Had the awesome opportunity to visit Boqueria in our visit to Nashville. The food is just awesome. As lovers of Spanish food, my wife and I were in heaven. Visited every day that we were in Nashville and wish we could be there every weekend. And the people were even better. Our wonderful servers Ellen and Vincent, Chef William, who was kind enough to even come to meet us at our table. All lead by their wonderful General Manager Ashley. They all made our time wonderful. We miss them already. If you’re in Nashville, do yourself a favor and visit Borqueria.“

“This fried chicken we got was next level DELICIOUS, from the breading, to the chicken seasoning, and that special sauce it came with. Yum!!! Highly recommended! The portion is large and priced reasonably. We found this place online and was skeptical at first since it’s not a traditional set up restaurant, turned out to be such a hidden gem! You can find many different restaurants in this food hall. We can’t wait to come back and try more food soon“

“We tried this lovely and delicious restaurant last night. The first thing I learned was they have two menus- one for sushi/sashimi and one for Thai cuisine. This review is about the Thai menu choices. Their menu is available online. There are many different and delicious sounding rice and noodle dishes with veggies that you can order with your choice of chicken, meat, seafood, or tofu. Their diverse menu also offers a tempting selection of fried rice dishes, appetizers, soups, and desserts. They ask you to let them know if you would like your dish to have some heat, and how much. Prices are comparable with or even less than other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. My brother chose red curry, made with coconut milk and mouth wateringly good with veggies, chicken, and jasmine rice. I had pho, a Vietnamese soup. The huge and certainly dinner-size bowl of oh so good luscious broth was filled with noodles, veggies, pork that I chose, and basil, bean sprouts, and slices of jalapeño pepper and lime on the side to be added as desired. I dumped them all in and dug in. Ummm umm SO good, YUM! We had mango sticky rice for dessert. If you like mangos, I’d say this dessert is not to be missed! The rice IS sticky. In fact it’s stuck together- sweet and especially delicious with the mango. The staff was extremely helpful, welcoming and warm and friendly. They enthusiastically answered my questions. We ate in the restaurant. Very clean and attractive. I completely recommend it! We really enjoyed the place, the people, AND the food. Try it!“

“I understand the building was pretty old but well maintained as the hibachi restaurant is hard to keep it well maintained.

The service was fair
But the food tasted like out of nowhere. Personally, I think they need to add more flavor to every food like salt, sugar, garlic butter, whichever..
It’s not like a shogun or it’s not like a Benihana pretty disappointed.“

“Rock N Roll Sushi probably just became my new favorite takeout. Price, quality, quantity, and flavor are all five stars. “The Hibachi Grill was really fun! Our grill master was very entertaining! The fillet and chicken was cooked to perfection! Our server was great! I'm rating my first time 5 stars!“

“The restaurant is located among a row of shops. We stopped by during lunch time on a Thursday and there was no wait and sat immediately. It was decorated in modern Asian style and seating was somewhat close together and brightly lit. We ordered 2 speciality sushi - ‘The green dragon roll’ and one ‘All-in Roll’ and one chicken teriyaki entree with miso soup and side salad.
The miso soup and salad was meh just standard. The chicken entree was flavorful.
All the sushi was delicious. It was made fresh at time of ordering. The service was good and overall we enjoyed our experience and would come back.“

“Had a wonderful experience here, with the very kind waitress Rose. The ambiance was perfect, and the Cascade Roll knocked my socks off! Had a small issue (on my end) that the manager worked very hard to resolve! Really appreciate the help, and I think the trip is definitely worth a repeat.“

“7pm on a Saturday night, not busy but slow service. The goyza tasted "fishy" (do they put seaweed in the goyza here? That seems strange if they do), the sushi was ok but was unevenly cut leading to some comically large bites. The ramen comes with a fried egg, which just doesn't hit as well as a marinated ramen egg and the katsu pork I'm pretty sure what just a sysco pre-breaded pork chop which wasn't especially tender or flavorful. I have had better experiences here in the past but it fell way short of the mark this time. Also they seem to have some strange obsession with putting asparagus in almost everything, so if you love asparagus this may be your jam but I don't find it works great in sushi rolls.“

“My cousin and I met here for the Art N Soul event and it was so fun! I live in Nashville and my cousin lives in Lebanon. The service, food, drinks, and atmosphere was excellent. There was live music, a live painter, and the intimate seating encourages conversation. We sat outside on the terrace which is beautiful! You're in the city and the hotel is swanky but not pretentious. I felt safe and welcome. This is a perfect place to meet up with friends or family or for a date. I would like to come here again for future events.“

“Yesterday we had a fabulous dinner at KOI SUSHI THAI, EAST in Nashville….. it was wonderful! We started with Squid Salad and Gyoza then ate our way through totally yummy Crab Bang, YumYum, Eel Nigiri, White Tuna, & Sweet Shrimp… crunchy and delicious! Then we topped it off with Mochi ice cream! Every bite was better than we’ve had in a long time on the road! We had a “Trainee” server…and the rest of their friendly staff helped her provide superior attention! So glad we found KOI SHSHI THAI early in our stay herein Nashville! We’ll be back!“
