Got the melon ice cream milkshake, and creme brulee, I'd say the milkshake is the better of the two the creme brulee uses a Miso base it has a much more salty savory flavor. There is a 18% tip added by default.
5WR: Taste of Japan in Nashville
As someone who recently came back from Japan dining at Kisser was a bit of a reminder of the great flavors and unique Japanese cuisine we experienced there.
This is a must stop for anyone looking for a casual date night with some delicious Japanese dishes (and some creative additions).
Stopped by for lunch and everything was great. We had the onigiri, katsu sando, the lunch special, and the peach parfait. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and came out really fast.
The staff were very attentive throughout the meal, clearing plates quickly and making sure our water glasses stayed full. The service made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming.
Overall, Kisser is a great lunch spot with quality food, fast service, and a team that really pays...read full review

Kisser is a Japanese cafe that offers a variety of delicious dishes, including onigiri yaki, chopped salad, spicy miso ramen, chicken curry rice, and chicken katsu sandwich. The restaurant takes pride in its cooking, with perfectly seasoned and flavorful meals that many customers find original and unique. The customer service is excellent, with staff accommodating special requests and explaining the menu well. The interior is cozy and cute, creating a great spot to try out. Although some may find the wait times long—over an hour for a table—many agree that it is worth it. The venue is small, so waiting is common, but the staff offers to text guests when tables are ready, making the wait more comfortable. Recent reviews highlight the exceptional service, cozy atmosphere, and high-quality food. The beef tartare and onigiri are highly recommended, and the caramel miso Creme brulee is praised for its depth of flavor. The restaurant also offers an allergen menu that highlights vegan and vegetarian options. While the spicy miso ramen received mixed reviews, other dishes like bacon udon and the Japanese breakfast have been praised. Customers enjoy the rly good katsu sando, udon, and delicious tea. Overall, Kisser stands out with its fresh food, decadent sauces, and great service, making it a recommended choice for food lovers.
