“This place was amazing! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and 2 entrees and everything was the best Asian food we’ve ever eaten. The serving was amazing. We will be in Nashville 2 more days and are trying to figure out how many more times we can eat here!“

“Hands down the best! I can sum up this place with one word, that is Tony. Not #TonyVitello but Tony the owner and superstar sushi chef. I have personally seen him cut sushi for country superstars the same as he prepares for my kids. His "slogan" is "see you tomorrow" and I truly believe he means that to everyone that walks through his door. Thank you Tony!“

“Sushi is always fresh. Great service.“

“The sushi was pretty good, but the salad was really not much more than some iceberg lettuce with no seasoning or care. The staff was friendly, but the lunch service was a bit neglected. Throughout the lunch service the staff was loudly barking instructions while moving tables and rearranging the restaurant. They even hastily removed half of my table while I was eating the meal. I may come back for the food, but I am reluctant due to the service issues and the simple atmosphere. There is also an extra service charge for paying with a credit or debit card.“

“I was craving fried rice in Nashville & I tried YAKI my first visit & it did not meet my expectations @ all!!! Decided I would try OSAKI because Memphis location has good food. This location was half the size but it has Great customer service & my food was DELICIOUS! I will be a repeat customer. I ordered 2 veggie spring rolls, small shrimp fried rice(5 jumbo shrimp was in my rice) & a shrimp tempura roll & spicy mayo & sweet chilli sauce on the side total cost was $22...
Parking: I parked directly across the street. Free parking behind restaurant.“

“I challenge anyone to spend 20$ on lunch. 10$ meals with tons of delicious food. The house salad and soup are really good, the bento boxes and hibachi are delicious. Kind and polite service, and they are on top of your drinks. Overall 10/10 would come again“

“Had dinner here during a recent trip to Nashville. The best Thai food I have had in some time. I had the green curry, my dad got the massaman beef stew and my mom got the basil fried rice. My curry was excellent, and since I got to eat my dad's leftovers, I can say that his dish was magnificent. My mom didn't seem super thrilled with her fried rice, but she also wasn't too enthused about going out for Thai in the first place.
The restaurant is quite lovely and has a nice ambience. Two of our dishes came out with the wrong meat, which wasn't a huge deal...the server was very apologetic and I'm not sure it was his fault they were wrong...but it was a blemish on an otherwise superlative experience.“
“This fried chicken we got was next level DELICIOUS, from the breading, to the chicken seasoning, and that special sauce it came with. Yum!!! Highly recommended! The portion is large and priced reasonably. We found this place online and was skeptical at first since it’s not a traditional set up restaurant, turned out to be such a hidden gem! You can find many different restaurants in this food hall. We can’t wait to come back and try more food soon“

“I don't know where to begin but I guess at the beginning. From the moment we walked in and was seated, we felt welcomed. The staff knew it was our anniversary in advance so they acknowledged it throughout the night. Our waiter Eric was phenomenal! From the moment he greeted us, we knew we were in great hands. He took plenty of pictures for us and recommended various good and wine for us to try. The food was out of this world! I've never had a meal like the one I experienced at Kanye Prime. Overall, if you're looking for a place with excellent customer service and food, Kanye Prime is the place to check out.“

“Our server made this experience very enjoyable for us- we thought we'd come in and get our regular sushi orders (we eat sushi very regularly in Canada and were missing it on our trip). But he convinced us to go with a chefs choice sashimi option and have their drunken elephant sake. We learned that the sake we had been drinking regularly (hot) was not pure sake - so learning about this was a really fun experience! Loved both options for food/ wasn't really filling but we weren't looking to fill ourselves up it was mostly about trying new things. Up until this point in the trip we hadn't had very good interactions with Nashville workers / customer service in general so this was very refreshing - our server I forget his name but he was really kind to us, told us a bit about the area - and had some incredible recommendations. Thank you again for making our experience so memorable.“

“Hidden gem! Don’t let the absolute lack of ambiance fool you… the food is plentiful and delicious. Served to you by smiling and caring faces. Seems like a dive but we were very pleasantly surprised. we over ate and over drank and lingered. Loved it here.“

“The first experiences weren't the best. Showing up with no cars at all. Walking into a completely dead restaurant, including zero employees. We ordered. Had a good selection. After we ordered. There was a huge water bug walking across the floor. But the food came. And it was actually really good. Well prepared and pretty quickly. All our food was delicious. Water and tea tasted bad. But that's not uncommon, I've noticed. They did quit a few to go orders while we were there. The food was good enough I'd visit again“

“My son and I love coming here for our mommy and son dates. The place is super cute, service is great, food sometimes take a lil long but that's why we order edamame (yum yum) the food is delicious. They had no issues letting my "new to exploring the seafood world" lil one modify a roll to his liking. Which he loved! We will always be loyal customers here. From start to finish, it's always a good experience, we highly recommend coming here.“

“The food at Teriyaki Madness is absolutely wonderful! However, there is a big problem with this location. Many months ago, my husband and I went there and there was a smell of sewer that was very off putting. We ate inside there anyway, but I mentioned to my husband that I wouldn't go back as the smell was bad. He is a plumber and told me he thought perhaps a floor drain trap needs to be primed (water poured into it) or a vent leak.
We didn't return for many months and today I went back with a friend. The food, again, is still very very good, but there is still a lingering odor (not quite as bad, but still there). I wish so much for this location to survive as the people there are so very nice and the food is great and the prices are just right. However, this problem needs to be addressed.
Parking: many spots available“

“I don’t know why Nashville hasn’t been talking more about this restaurant. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the music are fantastic.
Must orders:
1. Kumamoto Oyster: Very tender and creative, must try if you love oyster
2. Skirt Steak Tataki: perfect steak that’s so easy to chew and just slip into your stomach
3. Koji 1/2 Chicken: pleasssssssss order this one! It’s so good so juicy and so tender. The truffle fries and the koji au poivre sauce is the best combo.
I am definitely coming back!“

“Awesome Japanese fare in a cozy little place! The people are very nice, give large portion sizes, and the service is very fast. It's affordable and near Vandy campus as well which is a plus. They also recently expanded the menu, so there's lots of good selection.“

“We were looking for a lunch stop on our way to Cheekwood botanical gardens. Found this little gem via the map and ratings. This place is not doing a lot of business, but it should be because the sushi was delicious. We had the ginger salad, very good, the spicy edamame, very good, and we had three rolls, the Firecracker, the Volcano, and the Asahi Special and they were all excellent. The owner was having to handle the entire restaurant by herself and she did a wonderful job. Sadly, she is struggling to hire employees because her business level is too low, probably due in-part to being lost in a fairly cramped little strip mall. You really should try this place, the food is excellent and it would be a real shame if it doesn’t sustain.“

“I’m from New York so I know about expensive food, I think they are very overpriced. Food is good, but not $21 a roll good And that was a cheap one. Most specialty rolls were $28. If you’re looking to leave with a full belly, be prepared to spend $60-$80 per person.
The two rolls pictured were $50 with a seltzer water.“
