“Just tried EDESSA tonight and it was absolutely delicious. I lived in Adana, Turkey as a kid child and the food at EDESSA is authentic! The waiter was great and the atmosphere was lively. The traditional music is great. We had the Boregi, Baba Ganoush, , Mixed Grill, Adana Kabob and Baklava and Turkish tea (cay). We will definitely be back!!!“
“If you want to get a taste of authentic Uzbek food, similar to other Central Asian cuisines, this is the place. I'm impressed there are now 2 Uzbek restaurants in Nashville (other one being Osh, which is also excellent). You can always count on the staples like manty, pelmeni, kebabs, toi plov and shurba soup, but also try Medovik or Napoleon cakes. Highly recommended!“

From the moment we walked in, the owner and server greeted us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home. Their attentiveness throughout the meal was exceptional.The food itself was nothing short of fantastic. We started with appetizers, including the flavorful Beans and Shepherd salad, both of which were a hit. The mix grilled platters were cooked to perfection, each bite bursting with authentic Turkish flavors. What truly stood out were the desserts, made to order and served fresh. They were incredibly delicious, the perfect ending to a delightful meal.To top it all off, we were generously offered Turkish tea on the house, adding an extra touch of authenticity to the experience. “FANTASTIC restaurant!!!! We are foodies and always looking for excellent restaurants and this one is a solid 10/10!! The owner was amazing, very friendly and helpful and had a great personality! And the food.....sooooo good! I got the yogurt chicken and it was unlike anything I've had before! The flavors and textures were incredible! We also order the chicken roll ups and that was an amazing start to our meal! My hubby got the spicy chicken and while it was spicy, it wasn't spicy for the sake of being spicy....it was flavorful! We ended with the baklava and that was some really good baklava! HIGHLY recommended!!!“
