“This is some of the best food I have EVER had. The atmosphere is extremely authentic, and you are welcomed in as a guest of the vibrant culture that lines the walls and fills the food. The traditional coffee is roasted when you order it, and your hostess brings out the roasting beans for you to smell, engaging your senses and exciting your palate. I would come back just for the coffee. Then the food—where do I start. The chicken fell off the bone, and the mushroom wet was to die for. I rarely get rhapsodic about food, but I actually shed a tear or two over this, and it had nothing to do with the rich, fragrant spice. You need to be patient, though. This is not fast food. You will be served when you get served. I’m naturally patient and never get in a hurry, so I had no issue vibing while I waited, but those of you who always have somewhere to be may find yourself getting frustrated. Trust me, it’s worth your patience. I will be back next time I’m in Nashville or passing through. I might even divert through Nashville to eat here. Best food in town!“

“Great food, carryout only, jets roaring overhead. They currently only have 2 dishes: beef tips and vegan combo. We had the vegan option. We got a huge serving, enough for 2 meals! The taste was excellent! You can eat outdoors on one of their 2 picnic tables. One negative is that it's in the flight path for planes landing at BNA.“

“Kind of like a ma and pa restaurant, i had the vegetable plate, food was really good, I could taste the authentic seasonings flavor, especially the berbere flavor in peas, very good spice tea, heavy on the cardamon, may be too intense for some, but I like cardamon flavor......“

“It’s a WHOLE experience!! Ze knows what you need & serves up the most beautifully presented soul satisfying dishes of edible happiness! & eating with your fingers is so so fun & let’s the inner child play. Finish ‘er off with a traditional freshly roasted coffee in the cutest lil’ pot to share. Pleasantly plump & ready for a food coma nap 🤤“
