“The food and service at Abem Ethiopian restaurant is amazing!! We were craving Ethiopian food after having moved to TN from the San Francisco Bay Area and didn’t mind the 1.5hour drive after experiencing a selection of dishes at Abem. We enjoyed a large salad, veggie combo and doro tibs which we shared and still had leftovers to enjoy at home. Any time we’re anywhere near Nashville we stop at Abem. This is a family owned business operated with love. Hope you enjoy it, too.“

“This was our choice for lunch on a recent trip to the Nashville area. I'm glad we tried it!
This restaurant is inside a medium-sized grocery store. We didn't explore the grocery that much but it seemed like it had a nice balance of dry food goods, refrigerated items, and small objects, mostly either for cooking or the occasional gift. It was clean inside and being a grocery store had a good bit of parking outside.
The restaurant is on the far right as you enter. We were greeted warmly and told to seat ourselves. Menus were delivered promptly.
I ordered a Thai tea to drink. Hubs got the fried shrimp appetizer and we both chose noodles for lunch; he opted for pad see ew and I got drunken noodles.
The restaurant was fairly busy but despite the crowdedness it still felt easy to have conversation with each other. Our food came out quickly but had clearly been cooked fresh.
The Thai tea was the one thing that didn't hit at all. It had a very intense flavor that I couldn't quite place compared to all the other Thai teas I've had. Could just be this one is more traditional, lol. But it wasn't quite as sweet as I'm used to and it almost had a subtly salty vibe; I wouldn't get it again.
That said, the cooked food items were quite good. The breading on the shrimp was incredibly crispy and even I liked them well enough at first; the flavor was light and the texture not rubbery. We did ultimately realize these shrimp had not been deveined, which is not our preference but I understand it's not a requirement to be able to eat them.
The noodle dishes really shone, though. Hubs liked his pad see ew and we both thought my drunken noodles were even better. Lots of tender but still-crisp veggies in both. Strong and pleasantly aromatic basil flavor in mine. Large portion sizes. The noodles were cooked well and were pleasantly chewy. Mine was lightly spicy but nothing intense; I wound up adding more chili oil from the small container on the table.
Service was a highlight throughout; the women working were very personable, got us to-go boxes, and were attentive to any other needs we had.
Lots of menu choices here and fresh food prepared quickly. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.“

“We have been awaiting S&H at the Factory for some time and boy did it not disappoint! We had the Husky Red Light Special pizza…BUT….do not think you don’t need some wings! They were some of the best wings I ever had!! Mafia style!! Of course we had to try the cinnamon rolls…they too were epic! We also had the pleasure to meet Clint one of the owners! What a super guy! He really took time to chat with us, told us a little bit about the S&H story and I can def see why he and his partners/business is so successful! With all that said… I know you’re wanting to check out Slim & Husky’s as soon as possible or as soon as your tummy starts grumbling,Ha!“

“Saw a review of Everest Restaurant and Bar and saw they served Nepali, Indian, and Bhutanese cuisines. I’ve never had Nepali food and looked forward to learning how different it was from Indian foods. My server Sushmita took my drink order, and I wanted to try a Gorkha Beer from Nepal. Sadly, they were out of Gorkha so I went with Taj Mahal beer from India…a very good lager. I wanted to try a variety of different items and informed Sushmita my spice level was mild, so I ordered the following: Chicken Momo JHOL. I’m still not sure if this is a soup or a dumpling stew. The Momo are pretty big, and there were eight of them in this dish. I would rank this “soup” as one of the best soups I’ve ever enjoyed and would order this again and make this my meal! The Lamb Thali is a platter made up of several different dishes which are supposed to create a balanced meal. I cannot remember what Sushmita called each little cup of food or sauce on the tray but the lamb was to be eaten with one, two, or many of the side sauces or garnishments. The lamb was slightly overcooked but wasn’t tough and overall this was still a good dish and an experience in itself. I did figure out the small round ball is the dessert item called Gulab Jamun…OMG it was rich, sweet, and delicious. The place is not much to look at on the inside but it is clean, and while Sushmita and I may have experienced some communication issues, she took great care of me. There are a few more interesting noodle dishes here I would love to try on my next visit.“

“If you are looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Edessa Restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee is the place to be. As someone who has traveled almost 80 miles to indulge in the delicious Turkish food, I can attest that Edessa Restaurant is a hidden gem that should not be missed. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who welcome you with a smile. The service is prompt, and the food always arrives hot and fresh. The menu is detailed in English, making it easy to understand, and there is no confusion when it comes to choosing what to order. What makes Edessa Restaurant stand out is the presentation of their food, which is nothing short of jaw-dropping. Each dish is beautifully plated, and the flavors are expertly balanced. The cleanliness of the restaurant is also noteworthy, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic dining experience. In my recent visits, our server Hanan was exceptional. Her name in Arabic means "Tenderness with compassion and affection," and she truly lived up to her name by providing prompt and attentive service with a smile. As someone who has tried various types of cuisine from different cultures, I can confidently say that Edessa Restaurant's Turkish food and service are unmatched. I highly recommend anyone looking to try something new and unique to visit Edessa Restaurant in Nashville, TN. I give it 5 stars, and it is undoubtedly the number-one Turkish restaurant around. “From the first bite to the last, ETCH delivered one of the best dining experiences we've ever had We started with the shrimp and squid bruschetta, and it immediately set the tone for the evening The seafood was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The salmon was beautifully prepared with fresh vegetables that complemented it perfectly. The filet was fork-tender with an incredible sauce, while the osso buco was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and paired beautifully with sides. The venison was tender, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection. Dessert was unforgettable. The chocolate mousse à la mode was rich yet light, paired with creamy vanilla ice cream and a hint of passion fruit. Three of us ordered that. We knew it would not be for sharing. The blueberry sundae featured the best blueberries we've ever tasted. And then there was the chocolate peanut butter brownie ice cream. As someone who's spent years trying chocolate peanut butter ice cream everywhere—from roadside shops to gelato in Italy—I can confidently say ETCH's version deserves to be considered one of the best in the world. The creamy chocolate and peanut butter, combined with rich brownie pieces, made it absolutely unforgettable. Normally I'd recommend a favorite dish, but I can't—because everything we ordered was exceptional. My advice? Go with a group, order a variety of dishes, and share everything. Every appetizer, entrée, side, and dessert that hit our table was outstanding, and every single person left talking about their favorites. Deb Paquette is a visionary and deserves a standing ovation The quality of the food, the creativity of the menu, the impeccable service, and the very reasonable prices make ETCH absolutely worth the trip. It's rare to find a restaurant where every single dish exceeds expectations, but ETCH did exactly that. We left already planning our next visit. I am still thinking about the ice cream and how I can get some delivered to my house.“

“It’s been a number of years since we frequented Kayne Prime due to a move out of state. Last night’s experience was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. You also upped your game with the cute goat cheese tarts and palette cleanser. Last night was truly an experience above the excellent meal you are known for. We are blessed to have dined in many high end restaurants and last night you especially rose to the top. Must shout out our server Matthew. He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for going above and beyond. It was a night and meal to remember!“

“Today was the first I’ve even heard about this. I was leary about it at first with the parking being terrible. But my wife really wanted to try it. So valet we went. The young man that parked my Jeep was so nice and professional. But back to the restaurant. I was 100% impressed with just a burger that we are looking forward to coming back and having a real dinner. Hands down worth the time and energy. Bartenders were great, servers were polite and who I think was a manager was very attentive. Thank you all for today.“

“Once every week or two, I take a sacred day off, work out for approximately 4 hours, burn approximately 47,000 calories, and then come here.
Why, you ask?
The food is good. The blackened salmon, chicken, steak, asada, all delicious. Honestly, that’s maybe 25% of the reason I come here.
The other 75%?
THE QUESO.
I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. THAT. QUESO.
I take that little bowl home with me like it’s a super hot date. I cherish it. I respect it. I lick that tiny bowl clean with absolutely zero shame. That queso has seen things.
BUT TODAY,
Today, the woman responsible for QUESO betrayed me.
She filled my bowl to approximately 17% capacity. Maybe 1/5. I’m being generous. This was not queso. This was a queso sample.
I have never seen this woman before. She is new. I don’t know her. She doesn’t know me. Clearly, she does not understand the history between me and this queso.
I only discovered the crime after I got home.
And honestly? This hurt worse than when I lost my friend in middle school during the war in Syria. I am devastated. Broken. Emotionally unavailable.
Am I going to drive back?
No.
Am I going to call?
Absolutely not.
I will simply sit here, staring into this pathetic, empty queso bowl, wondering where it all went wrong.
Three stars because the food is good.
Zero stars for the emotional terrorism.
(Sad queso empty bowl pic is included as evidence)
Update: i didn’t email the restaurant, i love this place too much to not give it 5 stars.
Frankly, if they give me less cheese every visit i go, i ll still go back. I love you Baja burrito ❤“

“We came to Husk with high expectations for elevated Southern cuisine, and the quality of the food certainly delivered. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and it’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in its ingredients and execution.
That said, we were a bit disappointed by the limited menu selection, as we expected a few more options. We also felt that some of the dishes were priced on the high side relative to the portion sizes.
Overall, it was a good dining experience, and we’re glad we tried it. While it wasn’t quite the value or variety we were hoping for, others looking for refined Southern cooking may still enjoy it. For us, it was a one-time experience.“
