“Possibly the best diner I have ever eaten. Service, quality, quantity, cleanliness, all great. When we visit our family in the area, we go to Uncle John’s as often as possible. It’s the little things like real butter, hot maple syrup, fresh avocado, and on and on that set this place apart from any other diner we have been to. Highly recommend!“

A true hidden gem, this place had barely anyone inside but anyone who entered couldn’t help but smile and have fun as they were being treated by servers with infectious smiles and positive attitudes. Now onto our next subject. The food… My goodness did the food come out quick and they did not sacrifice quality food for good service either. The Crab Rangoon might have been the best appetizer I have ever eaten. It came out in a mere two minutes after ordering and then the main dish I had was Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was soft, sweet and hot. Everyone needs to visit Poy Thai, I left with a new type of joy I have never felt before. When Jesus comes back He needs to visit Poy Thai.“

“I've been coming to this place for awhile and it has been hands down my favorite place! I was eating nothing but the Pad Thai for yearrrrrssss bc it is just so dang good and tastes like home and a hug when you need it.. I couldn't bring myself to order another entree!

I finally branched out this year and have ordered numerous things off the menu and all of them have been absolutely delicious!

Shanelle is a fantastic server and is super sweet every time I go in! I couldn't believe she remembered me after I hadn't been in so long!

The only thing I’d love to see improve is the music. As someone who frequents the bar pretty often, I’ve noticed the playlist has gotten a little repetitive, with a lot of the same songs coming back around. I’d love to hear a little more variety—different genres, throwback nights, etc.

“Great taco Tuesday deal - $1.50 tacos. The picture attached to this review is 5 tacos, but there's so much meat you can only see the tortillas from four.

I got all steak tacos, and while they may not have been the best quality (which how could they be for the price?) I was very pleased. It was a huge, tasty meal for $8 with tax. If I lived closer, I would come often for this deal and try other meats.

Great service too and the food was ready in under 2 minutes.“

“Let’s be honest, these are the best cookies around…sure, maybe you’ve once tasted a better cookie in your life. Or maybe there’s other flavors you prefer in juxtaposition to these kooky cookies. But, if I had to take a punch to get a single cookie from HiFi, well that would be the price. As a Nashville native that no longer lives within city limits, I specifically drudge through 4hrs round trip traffic from east TN just to get a couple boxes of cookies every few months. They freeze well and toast up great. They’re great fresh. And the seasonal offerings always have at least 1 that costs me 3hrs on the row machine. “This was my first visit, and I was definitely not disappointed! Started with a garden salad with Italian vinaigrette dressing. Had meat lasagna as a main course then a slice of coconut cake for dessert. The portions were very generous, and the quality was top notch. Our server was very nice and prompt; she never let our drink cups to go empty. I will definitely be back!“
