We eat at this restaurant frequently. I cannot imagine anyone giving this place anything but a 5 rating. Food is delicious. Great country cooking.
We arrived 2 minutes before 10 when breakfast service ends. They graciously sat & served us and then prepared the BEST breakfast I’ve ever had. The biscuits & gravy were divine! Bacon perfect, hash browns fresh & wonderful. So grateful & sated! I’d give it 20 stars if I could!! Thanks!!’
Stopped for breakfast on our way home to Louisville from a three day trip to Gaylord in Nashville. I can honestly say this was the best meal we had on our entire trip. Will make this a stop whenever we travel on I65.

Liz's Kitchen is a friendly spot where customers often strike up conversations, although it can feel a little chaotic inside due to the number of people in the small space. The staff runs it like clockwork, with waitresses moving quickly between tables. The food is delicious, with recommended dishes like catfish, ribs, baked chicken, and mixed beans. The fried catfish with the collard greens and a side of dressing is a favorite. It is a warm and inviting place, like sitting down in grandma's kitchen, where the sweetest of people work. The customer service is always amazing and the staff is so nice, feeding spirits and souls. The Owner works just as hard as the staff in this packed house, a great spot for good soul food.
