Waffle House in Memphis

“Hubby and I are from California and we’re in Memphis for a family reunion. Stopped at Waffle House at 7125 Winchester Road for breakfast on our last day in town. Wish we had known about this place on Day 1 of our trip—we would have come every day! ? Service is great! Good was excellent! They get it to you quickly. And it’s prepared perfectly. I wish this establishment much success!“

“Came late night around 330 to get food and VICTORIA (A.A. female with really bad red weave) decided to get rude, yell and cuss at me as well as slam the togo window in my face, saying "I said what I said" and walked away talking trash. The younger cook, didn't catch his name, came to the window and although frustrated calmly took my order and began cooking it. The younger girl that was there with Victoria was very polite and trying her best to get her job done efficiently. The cook didn't hesitate to cook my order and EVERYTHING was made correctly! Very enjoyable meal! That cook DEFINITELY needs a raise! When I paid for my order ($55 and change, paid $80) I told the cook that the remainder of the change was for him. I really appreciated the fact he took care of the customer no matter the reaction from a waitress that didn't want to work. When I was talking to him VICTORIA was at the dish pit yelling and talking trash while just repeating "Blah blah blah" with her nasty bumpy tongue hanging out of her mouth of yellow teeth calling me out of my name. I have been in the food industry for over 18 years and i would NEVER treat anyone or any customer like Victoria did. I will be speaking to management and corporate about my experience there tonight and I will be pursuing getting VICTORIA FIRED. That was just completely unacceptable! Major kudos to the cook and the other server though, regardless of how tired, frustrated or overwhelmed they were, they kept cool and made sure everything got handled.“
