Portions were big and matched the price I payed but the flavor was hardly there. Needs more flavor.

Did really like fact that if you pay with card they charge an extra fee on every entree. We ordered hibachi beef and did not get that. We will never go back.

I ordered sushi, dumplings, soup, and an egg role.

The sushi, the sushi chef wasn’t in, so I waited 30 minutes for the sushi. The sushi roll was the smallest sushi roll I had ever received, it was awful on top of that…I didn’t even eat it…and I paid $11 for it! The egg role was so small for $2, only two bites. I could go on, but disappointed to say the least.

I ordered beef lo mein from the lunch menu and the cashier asked if I wanted soup or egg roll with my lunch. I said “egg roll”, thinking it was a free choice that came with the lunch menu option, as you normally do get when you order lunch items at other Asian restaurants around here. After paying and looking at my receipt, I noticed there was a charge for “beef”, so I asked the cashier about it, she said, “Oh, I forgot to tell you there was an upcharge for egg roll and I forgot to give you a military discount”. (I don’t mind her forgetting about the military discount, that’s not an issue) If she had told me they charge for the egg roll, I would’ve made a pass on it since I wasn’t too hungry anyways. It wasn’t much of a charge, but the upsetting part about this was the worker’s incompetence and lack of customer service skills. The food was “eh”. If the food tasted great, I would’ve let it go, but the lo mein was soggy and the flavor was a 1 out of 5. I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again.

Came during lunch today around 12:30pm. Nobody at the counter. There were about 3 people in the kitchen but nobody came out to greet and take order. They saw me standing in the front but completely ignored me. Terrible service!

We live in Alcoa and were excited about having an Asian Cafe close by. When they first opened up, their food was good and portions were enough to share. I got our usual tonight & was VERY disappointed!! The portion of Hibachi chicken could fit in the palm of my hand. The vegetables were the same. When we called back to make them aware that our 2 orders of Hibachi chicken hardly had any chicken in them, they apologized and said the owners had recently changed their portion sizes. Well, don’t charge $32 for $5 worth of food!! The manager ended up calling us back and said she was sorry we were disappointed with our order and that our next order would be free. She also confirmed that the owners had recently made a change in portion sizes. So to the owners… you might want to re-evaluate that change if you want to stay in business.

Solid hibachi. Clean restaurant. Awesome service! Workers are extremely nice- which these days is hard to come by. We have been here 7-8 times so far.

This place was great the first time we ate here but the last 2 times they barely gave me any chicken or veggies, filling the box with rice instead.

The drunken noodle was decent. I got crab rangoons and there was hardly anything inside. It was just a wonton with a tiny bit of cream cheese. Pretty bummed about that. The mushroom soup was very good. Hibachi was so-so.

Portions are extremely small! Over $8 for a California “roll” but I could hold it all in the palm of my hand. So tiny!! The mushroom soup was good but the wantons were nasty. Extremely soggy and not edible.

Orderd the Garlic Chicken but there was absolutely no garlic, no seasoning and watery and tasteless, the Chicken Hibachi was ok put contained more fried tasteless rice then vegetables and meat. We will absolutely not be spending anymore money at the Alcoa location it needs to just shut down and try again with better cooks just horrible!!!!
