My Home style chicken was terrible. It didn’t taste like the home style I have gotten before and it’s one of my favorites. I didn’t eat hardly any of it. I was disappointed and wished I have just ordered a vegetable plate. The green beans are terrible also I think they’re cooking them a different way. I was so disappointed and I’m a fan of Cracker Barrel but may choose to go to a different restaurant next time we go out to eat.
The chicken tenders were very tough and grizzle on the ends. Took a drink of my lemonade, it tasted like a chemical was mixed in, thought maybe it was me, but I had someone else try it, they said the same thing, something else was in the drink. Alcoa TN. Cracker Barrel is going down hill.
Ordered Chicken and Dumplings last night to go. Everything tasted fine, half way through I felt something crunchy in my food. It was glass!! How does this happen? I reached out to let them know because that could have been so dangerous. I have two kids! What if they had swallowed it!? This was the Alcoa TN Cracker Barrel.
Cracker Barrel has gone downhilll quite a bit. This use to be one of our go to dinner spots but now it’s one we avoid. My wife was sick so I decided to do a curbside order to make life easy. She wanted Chicken and dumplings so this was an easy choice. I placed the order online and set for immediate pickup. A pickup time was set for 45 mins later. I assumed this was to ensure freshness and time to get there (it’s a 15 minute drive from my home). I got there and let them know I was there. A gentleman came out in just a few minutes and handed me my meal then immediately walked away. Not allowing me any chance to ensure everything was ok. So I drove home only to find out some of our order was missing. Being hungry we went ahead to eat what we did have before I addressed the missing food. This was some of the most bland unseasoned food I have ever had. The mashed potatoes were undercooked and unseasoned. The chicken and dumplings clearly had sat for awhile and congielled together. Corn was cold and unseasoned. Cornbread was cold and extremely dry. We didn’t even finish all of the meal. Now it was time to address the missing food. I called the number to our local restaurant. A lady picked up asked me how she could help. I explained we were shorted food and she said that because it was a curbside order she needed to transfer me to the take out department. I stayed on hold for over 15 minutes. Frustrated I hung up and called back. Same lady same process. Was again put on hold for another 15 minutes. I again hung up and called back. This time I got a man who said he was a manager. I explained to him that this was the third time I called. His explanation was that they just got new phones today and wasn’t notified I was holding. I explained to him about the missing food. He said the only thing he could do at this point was put my name in a log book along with my email address and the next time we come in to let the hostess know and they will give us a free entree. Now I’m not one to push for things I am not entitled to but after this experience why would I want to come back any time soon if at all? I was very upset over this entire experience and decided to go even further and posted my experience with corporate experience team. As of today they did email me a coupon for a free Entree which I may or may not use. I’m sorry crackers barrel but unless your quality and customer service improves you will not be seeing my business again nor will I recommend you. Very disappointed.

I love shopping at your store and love your sales .
Your store is so pretty and so inviting. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I spent about $300 in this store. (Christmas gifts) My husband and I didn’t enjoy the coffee, it was cold and not good. It was very light , I didn’t want to pay for a coffee that I didn’t enjoy but I did pay for our coffee.

Great food & service. However, the restaurant could be cleaner. Chairs were not cleaned & items from the table were just "brushed" into them.
Dietary restrictions: Please don't over-salt items (vegetables, dressings, breading for fried items).

I had to send the eggs back. They weren't cooked the way I wanted. And the French toast was cold when I bidden to the first slice. I ended up just bringing the whole thing home and warming it up. And eating it at home.
