You need to ask your server for the vegan menu, as it is separate and not offered by default. Menu has several diner classics, mostly salads and burgers. I got a grilled cheese with bacon, which was good! Nothing really special or amazing about it, and the fries were ok. Not the best but not the worst. (Huge portion of fries!)
The star of the show, however, was the red velvet milkshake, which was perhaps the best vegan milkshake I’ve ever had. Not too heavy and rich, so it was a very welcome complement to the meal, and it had a delicious, distinctive red velvet flavor.
Worth a stop if it’s on your route (even if it’s just for the vintage diner aesthetic!), but not worth a detour imo.

Very disappointed in this place. I had high hopes based on the number of positive reviews it received.
My wife and I waited about 30 minutes for a table. We were warned ahead of time of the wait and chose to wait. Since we had time to look at the menu while we were waiting for a seat, once we were seated we were ready to order.
From the time we ordered our food to when we got it was about a half an hour. The appetizer came out at the same time as the meals defeating the purpose of the appetizer.
I ordered a classic BLT and my wife ordered the hot rod club. Beau's sandwiches for very small in the bread was very dry. Overall flavors were lacking.
Sweet tea tasted burnt and not sweet at all.
Booth was tiny and we could not fit the two plates of food and the appetizer on it.
So sad it wasn't better.

Great diner although it was very busy and took a while on a Saturday night to get food. Fun atmosphere and lively crowd. Solid diner staples and and excellent milkshakes!
My family use to order take out dinners from Hot Rods 50s diner frequently until we got home one evening with the worse meatloaf dinner ever. I call the restaurant and spoke with manager on duty to voice my displeasure with the dinner. She took my name and home address to send a coupon for a free dinner but we never received anything in the mail. Tried to feed the meatloaf to my dog but he wouldn't even eat it. We will never patronize that establishment again. If you are ordering carryout make sure you check your food before you drive off. Very poor business practices and giving them one star is a stretch for sure!

Well we sat outside and the flies kept flying around.. I think if u would put them candles out on the table it will repaile the flies away..
