Finally, a real NY pizza in Tennessee. This is the real deal. Grew up in NE New Jersey just across the river from NYC. I don’t miss living there but I did miss the pizza for the last 9 years. This pie brought me back to the NY metro area. I now have a go to pizza place. Plus the owners are so friendly and attentive.
We came to tonight because it was my 57th Birthday and I got to pick. It was my first time visit but I picked the restaurant because of the referrals and the online reviews. I don't live in Alcoa but both times I've been in town I stopped by for a pie. I give it high ratings for consistency, quality ingredients, and price. Even the side salad I ordered was a nice mix of greens that were crisp and as fresh. After chatting with the owner, I really feel he's working hard to deliver a quality product at an affordable price for his customers.
