I have to brag on this restaurant and the staff they are AMAZING! I placed an order for a meal after my current surgery. Me and my husband went to pick it up and of course I was all bandaged up. They were the most sweetest people I’ve ever met! They threw in a free dessert and the sweetest note I will always cherish! And of course they always have amazing food! Thank you so much and you all have really made my week so much better🩷

The girl at the counter did not know what she was doing & when she scanned my order it should have given me the points, but instead it took my points off & still charged me. That is upsetting because I am a loyal customer to McAlister's. I was in Nashville the first weekend of Dec. 2025 & went to McAlister's & spent $30.00 & got no points either.. So, this is twice I got cheated on the points. I

The manager who was working at 1115am on Wednesday 12/17/25 at the Alcoa, TN location was VERY RUDE! The issue was a gift card I had purchased for a friend was not working. The card said $0 balance even though it had not yet been used. It was supposed to have $40. Instead of the manager apologizing and attempting to remedy the situation, he had the audacity to claim that it had already been used and nothing could be done. The employee who sold the gift card to me was working and confirmed that she performed the transaction on 12/13/25. He made the situation seem as though I was trying to get another gift card of $40 for free and lying about it not being used. The issue was never resolved and I was asked to leave for not letting it go. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Went to McAllister tonight and got a sandwich with moldy lettuce witch left marks on the bread. It was slimy and had to toss it

The cashier was getting really angry because I was calmly and politely pointing out that the two things I ordered didn't equal 35 dollars. Argued with me with a stank little additude that she doesn't know what to tell me, that she don't make the prices. Finally called her boss over and he took off the extra meal she had rang up, and was very short about the whole situation. When we got our food, one of the potatoes was so old and hard, it could be labeled as a weapon of mass destruction. The manager replaced it, also with a quiet stank additude. The store looked really bad. I'm sure it's an older store and they are much harder to keep clean and presentable looking. You should have seen the bathrooms though. Black mold looking stuff down near the baseboards, and the female hygiene trashcan was overflowing into the floor. I'm a general manager myself, so I understand at different times of the day what things can look like. Nah, this was neglect and laziness. Sorry guys. Maybe get someone in that may care
