Drove 40 miles to use my 2 %50 gift cards and the place was closed.
It should have been updated on Waze and Google maps.
People keep driving into this building. What's going on in there that makes people crazy? Silver lining with the cleanup and repairs to the building the contractors will have to clean before they leave. So it'll finally get cleaned.

Sign on door and registers stated that due to staffing, customers would have to use kiosk.
Lady standing next to me only wanted a cup of coffee, and then asked how she would pay for it. Was not familiar on how to use kiosk.
At this point, I explained she would have to use her card. She was very frustrated. I cancelled my order because not having enough staff is a managerial, and not a customer problem. Some people are not familiar or comfortable using kiosks to place orders. Manager should make sure someone is there to man the registers and help customers, or do it themselves. This is poor customer service, and Panera lost two customers because of it.

Good food but high priced. Alcoa, Tn. restaurant needs desperately to redecorate and keep the tables & floors clean. I believe the booth cushions were recovered but without cushioning??
Waited way too long for a Panera bread order. Just to get home and find out that I got charged for food that I didn't receive.

Stopped here because my daughter and I loved their tulip cookies. Got half a dozen. THEY ARE AWFUL NOW! They are no longer iced cookies with a slight lemon taste. They are fake white chocolate dipped plain, no flavor, sugar cookies and they are horrible. Threw them away because we all hated them. They taste like automated factory made crap. Do not recommend. I haven’t gotten food there because of their lack of cream cheese flavors and the over baked bagels but now, I will never go back. So sad that a once delicious place has fallen from grace so badly!

We stopped at the Panera in Alcoa and found the place to be very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming—which we always appreciate.
Unfortunately, the food this time missed the mark. We ordered the Steak & Wake-Up sandwich, which was dry and pretty tasteless. It really needed a sauce or cream cheese spread to bring it together. The beef wasn’t sliced, just tiny shreds, and the sandwich was served upside down—so what little beef there was fell out of the sandwich.
We also had the Garden Avocado & Egg White Sandwich on an everything bagel. It had potential, but it needed a little more seasoning to really stand out.
While standing in line, we noticed the baked goods inventory looked a bit low. We were hoping for a cinnamon crunch bagel, but only two were left in the basket, and they looked overdone, so we passed.
When we visit Maryville, we usually enjoy stopping by Panera for breakfast and a few extra treats, but maybe we just hit an off Saturday this time.

All the staff at this location are very nice, but Kylie goes out of her way to be sweet! Great food and very reasonable prices!
I love Panera food, but this location is desgusting. The decor is old, dingy, and clearly very used. Its always filthy when you come inside. Hundreds of greasy fingerprints on the front doors, dust and grime built up everywhere, sticky caked on floors, and filthy caprets. It smelt bad too. They cant even keep the tables and drink areas cleaned up. I dont feel safe eating from this location, Id go to another.
