Had the food bar at 2pm. Selection was less than average. But my biggest beef was the temperature of ALL the food. The hot food wasn't hot enough and the cold food was room temp. The beans had cooked so long that a skim was over the top. I'm SURE the health inspector would have closed them down. The manager was called over to our table, and he asked what he could do to correct the situation. The only thing he could have done was remove all the food and start all over, which I knew wasn't going to happen. He should have comped our meal because we sure didn't eat much off his bar! Since he didn't offer to comp it, I decided that was our last trip to this particular Shoney's. No, I do not recommend this location.

This is the cleanest Shoney's I've been in in a while. The buffet was kept up well and the staff was super friendly. Can't go wrong with the breakfast bar, but the other dinner buffet offerings were good too. Perfect for picky eaters and families.
The buffet is better early! Salad end is always good.
