We had a Birthday party on Sunday. Mytch was an excellent waiter. 16 people were there and Mytch got everything correct and delivered in a timely manner. He was very professional and personable. Kudos to Mytch and Shoneys.
My friends and I needed a quick weekend dinner and this was the perfect place! Olga took excellent care of us as our server. The bar was filled with fresh homestyle favorites for the Southern Sizzle. There were also things I hadn't seen at Shoney's before, like spicy chicken sandwiches, spring rolls, and the most delicious chocolate cake. Friendly staff were always replinishing the buffet. For the same price you might pay somewhere else for just a burger and fries you...
One of the few Shoneys left around Knoxville. Still has the same ambiance as it did 25 years ago,and i hope it never changes. Just a nice quiet place to get really good food,get as much as you can hold,and still at a decent price. The only reason i gave the food 4 stars was that the boiled cabbage,one of my favs was not up to parr the last couple times i went,but not many ppl like that dish anyway,lol
