He believes telling the reader a positive and negative unbiased look at the experience people have is essential. ------ Having had the opportunity to stay at various types of hotels, including large chains, specialty, regional, and private, I have found that certain hotels can set expectations even before you arrive. My recent stay at the Courtyard in Knoxville, Tennessee, demonstrates how attentive staff can significantly enhance the guest experience. ------ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ: When I first arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by Leah with her adorable southern charm. She ensured a swift check-in process and promptly provided me with the requested water. Her helpful guidance to the elevator was much appreciated. The entire staff, from the hotel's management to the bistro team, contributed to a consistently welcoming atmosphere. When I sought coffee before the bistro's opening hours, the front desk staff went above and beyond by arranging for a barista to prepare a cup for me despite the early hour. This thoughtful service extended to other guests who subsequently requested coffee. Shining Stars at this hotel were Sierra and Cassidy. They truly made the evening and morning Bistro experience special. --- ๐…๐ข๐ญ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ: The fitness center at this hotel was well-maintained, as is typical of Courtyard properties. It was clean, stocked with fresh towels and water, and appeared to be regularly sanitized. However, the absence of several sets of weights was a minor inconvenience, though the reason for their disappearance was unclear. --- ๐€๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ: The hotel's common areas were a highlight, offering a beautifully designed communal space near the front desk, an expansive outdoor area with a fire pit for colder nights, an indoor pool, and an inviting outdoor jacuzzi. In addition, they included a guest laundry room, which was a practical feature for those needing to wash clothes. --- ๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฌ: The King Room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious, akin to the size of an apartment. Despite being a standard room rather than a suite, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, featuring accent chairs and a safe for added convenience. The room was well-equipped to ensure a restful stay. --- The coffee provided in the rooms, however, could be improved. It would be beneficial to offer a complimentary coffee pot at the front desk when the bistro is closed, as not all guests may wish to purchase coffee from Starbucks. While the availability of Starbucks is appreciated, a more economical option would be advantageous for those seeking a simple cup of coffee. --- Overall, this Courtyard by Marriott location exemplifies the brand's commitment to customer satisfaction and represents the high standards associated with it.

After an hour and a half after ordering the bistro burger and side of salad, I asked if we were forgotten. I was assured we weren't forgotten and they were just really busy. I looked out at the 3 other tables besides ours that were taken, and said "ok." Soon after, she came out and asked what we ordered again. Clearly, we were forgotten. She was running the front, and cooking in the back. 1 person for the whole restaurant. Nice one, Marriott...For a $15 dollar burger, I assumed I was gonna be in for a treat especially after I was recommended to have a really good burger here by the front desk of the hotel. I watched her hustle around and grab a frozen patty out of the freezer behind the counter and take it to the back to cook, I presume. 10-15 minutes later we got our food. My friend got his burger and fries, I got... just a salad? Where's my burger? She apologized and took the salad, which looked good actually, back. Another 10 minutes or so she came back with my burger and side salad. The burger had no lettuce or tomato despite her describing it as having those things when I originally ordered, and had no real flavor to speak of. Below the average of frozen burgers, let alone a real hamburger. And the side salad was literally about 2 tablespoons worth of what seemed to be diced tomatoes from a can and low quality leaves. This was all paid for up front, by the way. Smart of them. I forced the whole thing down, my buddy couldn't get passed half of his. I ended up with the runs not long after getting back to my room.To top it off, she started bringing out burgers for some of the other tables and there was lettuce and tomatoes on theirs!!! Avoid this place, walk over to the Ruby Tuesdays. You'll be glad.

Cane down to get a cup of coffee. They advertise they close at 9:30 am but at 8:50, the bistro was closed and I couldn't get a cup of Starbucks coffee. I have stayed at much cheaper hotels, and had a full free breakfast, I expected a bit more from Marriott.

We booked a room at the Brand New Fairfield and when my husband arrived was told that no they were at the other Fairfield which is NOT where I booked a room. When they arrived at the other hotel and got into their room the TV did not work, the Phones did not work and the beds were so old they had huge massive dips in them that they couldn't even sleep. Then adding insult to injury they were told that if they wanted to eat breakfast they would have to pay for it...!!!???!!! Really pay for powered eggs and frozen waffles.....I don't think so, I have several more trips booked through Boyvoy and my rooms had better be at the ACTUAL Hotel that I book it for. It is NOT my problem they OVERBOOKED their rooms and then CLAIM that were at the wrong HOTEL. That is BS and completely uncalled for and Unnecessary. This is the WORST EXPERIENCE I have EVER had to deal with.

Travelled with an infant and they were very helpful in getting us a pack and play and directing us to the laundry. Room was great- very clean. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast but it looked like it would have been great as well. Would stay there again if we're ever back in Knoxville.

We stayed to meet some family in town, and on arriving a little early I was allowed to go ahead and check in. The girl at the desk was friendly and helpful as was her trainee. They were all very pleasant and nice to us. As for the hotel there were a few minor hiccups but nothing bad. The pool was open but no towels, I requested a pack n play to the room but the only one they had was broken (but functional!) hotel has a little age on it but all in all a great stay. Trent at the front desk was the rockstar of the night though. He went above and beyond in every aspect. Brought towels to the pool, helped with the pack n play, gave my son a snack after we ate in the lobby. He was always helping guests, answering questions and doing everything he could for all the guests. People like that are what make us choose Mariott over and over!

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in as far as customer service. The staff was friendly and took care of all that we requested. (extra towels/garbage bags etc.) The hotel was very clean and quiet. I was very pleased with my stay.

The front desk agent was helpful, the room was clean (I appreciated the seating area in the room), I loved being able to sit in the lounge area with a fireplace to study and breakfast was awesome! ! !

Angel was above and beyond and Cheyanne was cool under pressure. It made a difference. We left feeling ready for the days drive. Only complaint was no heat in the hottub and pool. I would like to be notified at check in about that. Instead of wrestling suits on, walking down to step in and find out it's freezing cold, and then what I thought was another covid warning posted was a sign saying no heating element. Breakfast was good. Location was clean and we slept great.

The first room we got had a leaking air conditioner, so we were moved to a new room with no issues. The customer service reps were very kind and helpful. They even gave us a goody bag for our troubles.

Clean spacious rooms, beautiful courtyard with fire pit and hottub. Very comfortable stay. The staff made our stay excellent. Leah at the bar and grill, was so accommodating. Trent at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, including arranging a cab for our early morning flight. They were so welcoming. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Knoxville area.

Everyone at this location was so friendly and helpful from the shuttle, front desk, bar, Starbucks, EVERYONE WAS GREAT! I went to get a coffee not realizing they were already closed and Gracie made me a drink anyway! The only con is that uber and lyft don't really come this way, but that is in no way the staff's fault. Clean place as well!
