“Curry and Tikka is my favorite restaurant in my area. The food is so delicious, the people are super friendly and the desserts are incredible. I usually get a mango lassi, Delhiwalla Chicken Tikka, and the carrot dessert. I need to try their buffet, too. So, just saying…it’s so great and I don’t want anyone to miss out.“

“How refreshing to find an Indian buffet again that is actually delicious. House of India may very well now be the beat Indian Reataurant in the Nashville area. Friendly staff, appropriately flavorful and spicy dishes (even on the buffet). So many buffets I've been to in recent years are overly sweet and bland. Not this place. If you used to go to Bombay Palace more than a decade ago, this is like that. Same owners in fact. So good.“

“I eat a LOT of Indian food and I have literally tried every restaurant in Williamson Cty and many of them in Davidson et al....Service is top notch, staff are super friendly and the quality of food can't be beat....PLUS, if you eat super spicy like I do, there is NO OTHER PLACE that cooks like Persis Cool Spgs!!!“

The whipped paneer was delicious as was the pork shank with the korma curry sauce if you’re ever in Nashville you must eat at Chauhan and who knows if your lucky enough you MIGHT get to meet Maneet ( my parents and I unfortunately didn’t ) our waitress was very friendly and helpful“

“If you haven’t dined at this one of kind in the Nashville area Indian Cuisine, you’re missing out! Curry House is a very authentic Indian restaurant with a great All you Can Eat Lunch Buffet in the Publix plaza off Sam Ridley. As someone with some indian family members and having grown up in the northeast, this Indian food is top notch, but it doesn’t stop there, the owner who is here almost every single day is an amazing guy! The service and atmosphere is great! Food places can have good food, but without good service, it isn’t a 5 star establishment. This place exceeds every star! Thanks!“

We dined in, loved it, will come back again!

“Friendly service. I honestly was headed to Jamaicaway and realized they were closed on Saturdays. I decided to come back to this place because it smelled so good on the way in. I had the curry meal. it comes with two curries, rice and Naan. I chose the goat curry and Tikka masala and they were both excellent. The rice was the vegetable kind and it was very flavorful. The Naan was not dry at all. I'm not from the Nashville area but I would come back frequently if I lived here.“

“Great place! Came several times. Love the complimentary dipping sauce, the shrimp pakora, the tomato soup, the eggplant dishes, and the lamb or chicken korma. The garlic naan is good. But samosas are too large, too filling, and not that good. I’d also like to see more beer options“

“Saw a review of Everest Restaurant and Bar and saw they served Nepali, Indian, and Bhutanese cuisines. I’ve never had Nepali food and looked forward to learning how different it was from Indian foods. My server Sushmita took my drink order, and I wanted to try a Gorkha Beer from Nepal. Sadly, they were out of Gorkha so I went with Taj Mahal beer from India…a very good lager. I wanted to try a variety of different items and informed Sushmita my spice level was mild, so I ordered the following: Chicken Momo JHOL. I’m still not sure if this is a soup or a dumpling stew. The Momo are pretty big, and there were eight of them in this dish. I would rank this “soup” as one of the best soups I’ve ever enjoyed and would order this again and make this my meal! The Lamb Thali is a platter made up of several different dishes which are supposed to create a balanced meal. I cannot remember what Sushmita called each little cup of food or sauce on the tray but the lamb was to be eaten with one, two, or many of the side sauces or garnishments. The lamb was slightly overcooked but wasn’t tough and overall this was still a good dish and an experience in itself. I did figure out the small round ball is the dessert item called Gulab Jamun…OMG it was rich, sweet, and delicious. The place is not much to look at on the inside but it is clean, and while Sushmita and I may have experienced some communication issues, she took great care of me. There are a few more interesting noodle dishes here I would love to try on my next visit.“
