I recently visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day, expecting a VIP experience, but unfortunately, it was anything but. First, the parking situation was unacceptable—there was no concrete parking, making it extremely difficult for women in heels to walk comfortably. A simple improvement like concrete parking could go a long way in enhancing the experience for guests. To make matters worse, our meal took almost 3 1/2 hours to complete when it should have taken less than two. The restaurant wasn't even busy, yet the service was excruciatingly slow. When the food finally did arrive, it was cold and far from the quality one would expect from a restaurant that promises VIP treatment. We drove 45 minutes expecting a special night, but instead, I left with a wife who was upset and disappointed. Overall, this experience was terrible, and I'm left regretting that we chose this place for such an important evening. A lot of improvements need to be made if they want to live up to their promise of providing exceptional service.
Homemade food! Homemade potato salad better than my grandmothers! I’m not a sweet tea drinker but her sweet tea is so yummy! I recommend her BLT and ask for the frozen coffee pie!

I went to this restaurant and had a wonderful time! The lemon pepper wings were wonderful and all of the tacos are delicious! The owner was so sweet! I can't wait to go back! Thanks for a great time!

I really love this little bistro. It's a bit out the way whenever I am in Memphis, but I make it a point to stop at Pepper and grab something on the go or dine-in for dinner. I had the French Mustard Chicken Thighs and Brandy Sweet Potato Pie. It was all delicious. The bistro is sort of rustic. It appears to be a work in progress, but I look forward to dining again very soon. Oh yes, try the Lavender and Earl Grey Tea cookies when you visit!
First time trying the pepper bistro. Cute, eclectic restaurant in the tiny town of Galloway, TN. We had reservations for 1pm, but we were the only people there. They presented a lengthy lunch menu, but was disappointed to hear that they were only serving four items, two of which were burgers. I had wanted to try one of the quiches. We both order the burgers; one was the French Bistro burger with sautéed mushrooms and a Gorgonzola aioli, the other was a traditional American cheese burger with pimento cheese. Both were served with fries. Be prepared, the French Bistro burger is big and kind of messy. If you are on the fence about Gorgonzola slip it. The aioli is quite strong and very not for those who don't like blue cheeses. The owner and Chef, Diana, came out to greet us and offered a piece of lemon pound cake, on the house. Most pound cake is served cold or room temperature. This was served slightly warm with a lemon glaze. Quite delicious! We plan to go back for dinner and hope that there are more options. The dinner menu looks fantastic!
We had a great time dining at Pepper. The owner was a wonderful soul that made sure we were taken care of. The food was amazing! This is a nice little getaway spot, can't wait to go back!

Really slow service and average food.
Valentines Day Special Menu. The highlight was the appetizer. It went down from there. Claims to cook “fresh” but there were obvious frozen, canned, and boxed ingredients used in the dishes, poorly seasoned and overcooked. Claims French inspired but did not experience that in anything but portion sizes and wait time. There were good ideas behind the menu, but did not come through in the presentation.

Spent $125 per person for Valentines dinner.. advertised as a prix fix menu including champagne .. ONE glass. Very disappointed that the 3 courses included a basic salad with beets, “lobster spaghetti”.. literally spaghetti noodles with basic sauce and a couple chunks of lobster, dessert?... we waited 40 minutes for dessert before we decided to leave without the dessert. We were one of many couples who finally walked out. As people who have worked in the restaurant industry and support local businesses, we hung around as long as we could. One star given only because zero stars was not an option.

Amazing Food Flavor, Texture, and Care!!My husband and I called and placed an order from Diane for Takeout today: He had the Bistro Burger w/fries and I had the Quiche Lorraine. Burger was cooked perfectly since my husband likes his a little rare, it was GREAT with all the toppings and the fries had a very nice seasoning on them. I like thicker fries and not crispy, there were made my favorite way. My husband likes a well known one that are narrower cut and crispy, but he still enjoyed them.BEST most CREAMY Quiche I have had in all of my life!! I have to watch my gluten intake and the crust was so minimal, often most places have such a thick crust and barely anything inside. Her egg mixture was so creamy with lots of onions and other ingredients on the bottom. It was almost like a light cheesecake/flan sort of egg consistency. SMOOTH!No idea how long Diane whipped those eggs, but OH MY DELICIOUS! We will be Back and hope to meet you next time Diane (I had to stay in the car with our dog) and thank you, plus try your spinach quiche next!! Diane, we will share with our friends to keep you busy.***If anyone is looking for a quaint but special not too big of a place (Diane can seat 4 tables worth, save for COVID times) that focuses on care of quality and food flavor, and feel like you aren't in the big Memphis metro area, but not far (only 10min drive from Lakeland area).PLEASE come see and TASTE Diane's Devine Food!!!We'll see you again soon Diane :-) Blessings, stay safe and we thank you for opening a special place north of Bartlett area and not far from I-40 too!
The food her was absolutely amazing! I had the Spinach and Cheese Quiche with a side of fries. Both of those were phenomenal, the fries were the best fries I've had in a very long time. To add to all of this, I did meet the owner, and like another reviewer said she has a very beautiful personality! I would definitely recommend everyone try this amazing food!
