Got our food before drinks and they set us down in front of a speaker for live entertainment did not let us know entertainment was coming then we couldn't even talk or hear each other. Food was not as good as it used to be. And portions are a lot smaller. Left hungry.

There famous Cuban sandwich was a huge disappointment. Like I wondered if they'd ever been to Miami. Fries were cold and from frozen. Cafe con Letch was served luke warm and tasted old. The yucca was served after being under the heat lamps for a while. HUGE disappointment from the first location. Service sucked and dude playing guitar was way too loud for a Sunday afternoon. We will never go back.
Place is spacious & clean
Food & service excellent!

We hosted our 30th MCHS class reunion at Angela’s, and it couldn’t have been better! The taco bar was absolutely delicious, and Dan (the owner) along with the entire wait staff went above and beyond to make our event special. They were attentive, kind, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We are so grateful for their hospitality and highly recommend Angela’s for anyone planning an event or simply looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere.
Dan needs to learn some manners and how to respect other people, especially his employees
Today, I gave myself the best birthday present: I quit working at Angela's after 4 years of taking care of thay place as if it were mine.
I will no longer put up with Dan’s toxic, abusive behavior. In my opinion, he is the worst person I’ve ever met, and I have never been treated so badly by anyone in my life. He screams at me in front of tables and in front of the entire restaurant, and then threatens to fire me over nothing — even when I haven’t done a thing wrong. I’m tired of shaking and crying before work because of his constant abuse. No job is worth that. I gave that place everything I had, and I refuse to let it break me down any further.
To all of my wonderful customers — you were the bright spot in every shift. Serving you, laughing with you, and getting to know you has meant the world to me. You were the only good part of that job, and I’ll always be thankful for the kindness and support you’ve shown me. I’ll let you know where I go next, because I would love to continue seeing you.
I’m done being someone’s punching bag. My peace matters more than his power-tripped behavior.
Here’s to better things.
Last week was my breaking point.
I had just walked a party of five older men out to the patio and was trying to turn on the TV for them. I made the mistake of asking Dan to help me — he had just walked into the restaurant at 8:30 at night, after not being there all day. He’s never there.
And the first thing he did was come out yelling “No, no, no, no” so loud it felt like he was yelling at my customers too. Then, right there at the concrete bar — with only me, my customers, and him standing there — he started screaming about another employee. And then he turned on me, threatening to fire me if I said anything.
Later, when I quietly asked him not to talk to me like that in front of my customers, he followed me into server alley, screaming his head off. He accused me of things I didn’t even do, kept screaming, and then threatened to take me off the schedule. He was screaming so loud the entire restaurant could hear him — over the Singo game. I was mortified. But I had to plaster on a happy face and keep waiting on my customers, taking care of my other tables like nothing had happened.
That was already embarrassing enough. And it was only one of many times he’s treated me this way. But that night — being screamed at and threatened in front of customers and the whole restaurant — was the last straw. I gave him a week to apologize. He never did. He acted like nothing happened.
Meanwhile, I’m the one left to run the entire restaurant every night — for $8 an hour.
$8 an hour to be screamed at? No thanks. I’m done.
Horrible as a cuban from Miami myself. I was offended the lack of knowledge between different Latinos and or cultural differences. Menu was all over the place. No cuban restaurant in Miami or cubas has taco Tuesday so offensive. Not fresh at all

The food was fantastic! The only negative thing that I can say is that the music was too loud and I had to yell to talk to the other people at my table.

We got to this place at 8:30 on a Saturday. We were greeted at the door and I told them we had a party of 7. They informed me the kitchen closes at 9 and they close at 9:30. I told them the website shows 11. She said the owner won't change it. She said we can order as long as it's before 9. The rest of our party got there at 8:40 and rushed to order. Our food came out fast and was ok. The waitress checked on us a couple times and said no rush until after we paid. We were finishing our drinks while the kids finished their food. The waitress came to pick up empty plates then proceeded with angrily slamming the chairs on the other tables continuously glaring at our table. We finally got up and left. It wasn't even 9:30 when we walked out the door. We spent over $150 at this place. Needless to say we won't go back.

Love! I had the Cuban. Son had the Beast burger, which was HUMONGOUS! Hubby had the Philly and friends had loaded nachos and club sandwiches. Everything was delicious! The new location is amazing! Such a cool place to eat! Highly recommend!

I will say, we used to love to eat here (food is great) and went all the time. Drinks and food were good and HAD good prices. However, prices have gone way up yet, meal selections have been limited to smaller portions.. all while increasing prices. The happy hour doesn’t really give happy hour prices. Friday I asked if music was going to be there. After saying yes..they changed it to Saturday, but told me another guy was playing instead… again nothing. Not even any music playing over the speakers. Very sadly disappointed.
Food, beer selection and service are outstanding! Flavorful dishes
Best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. Get the beans and rice.

This is the first time my family and I have eaten here (it was reccomended to us by a friend) and this place did not disappoint! The waitress was outstanding and the food was amazing. We also got the cheesecake and flan and I have to say as far as the cheesecake, Cheesecake Factory better watch out and the flan was the best I have ever had!
