Great meal! We stopped in for lunch on the way back from vacation. It was around 1:30pm on a Friday and there was no wait. We had the Sunday Homestyle Chicken and the Country Fried Steak. The chicken had generous portions and was very tasty. I loved the crust. Plan to get that one again. in the future. Our server was Jeanny and she was very sweet and very helpful. The restaurant and store were clean and neat. Overall pleasant experience.
First let me say I love Cracker Barrel!! But this is the worst excuse for one I have seen. Service is horrible and argumentative. When trying to place a to go order over the phone usually receive several hang ups. After having a large group with several order mixups requested the manager only to learn she would rather argue than fix the issue. This review is over the course of three visits. Easier to just go to Harriman now!

I wish I would've taken a picture of that celery and cornbread mix they tried to serve as dressing. They said it would be 15 minutes for fresh dressing and still brought us the left overs from last batch. Acted like me wanting honey for my over fried chicken was ridiculous. Extremely microwaved mashed potatoes. Unfriendly server put the cherry on the top. Thanks for the garbage.
