This place has a bit of everything for your sweet tooth, and several other things as well. Good portion sizes as well, I could not finish my apple shortcake dessert. Prices are pretty good as well. Good value for the money. They stayed busy but the wait was not bad.

Went through the drive-through last night ordered a hot fudge sundae, large with extra hot fudge and crushed pineapples. The hot fudge sundae that’s large cost 4.25 it’s $.75 for extra hot fudge and $.75 for crushed pineapple. The lady gave me a total of 820. I got to the window and asked her why it went from 4:25 to 820. She said that I ordered a hot fudge cake. I let her know that I did not order that I ordered a hot fudge sundae. She gave me a rude attitude as she was shutting the window. She looked at another employee and said now she’s saying she ordered a hot fudge sundae very rude. here lately the rudeness has gotten to be out of hand. I only hope the owners can handle this and make it more inviting and friendly for all customers.

Love the vanilla yogurt with caramel syrup. Banana split very delicious too. You can't go wrong when you want a cold treat at The Dairy Barn in Athens. Plenty of free parking. An outdoor dining area complete with two restooms. I highly recommend The Dairy Barn as the best ice cream restaurant in Athens.
