Mexi-Wing I (Downtown Athens)

Sat down for 15 minutes while the server never once welcomed my & year ol daughter and I but looked at us multiple times, then served a group that came in after us, we just sat there until we finally decided to pick up and leave where the server once again just watched us. Horrible service.

The wait was crazy long like a hour for food and the place was empty they had the music so loud it was so hard to hear your self talk to the people beside you and the server was rude as hell total dog shit.

First time visiting was the day of the annual pumpkin fest with thousands of ppl . The service was perfect the food was delicious and the inside was SPOTLESS . The floor shined the table tops was clean the bathroom looked liked it had been cleaned in between visits. Way to go mexi wing Downtown athens . 5 stars. Please stop and visit. I promise it is nothing like the one on hwy 68 or 411

Raised the price on wings by $3 is crazy work. Never coming back

First visit there. The food was pretty good, it was too quiet. No music just kitchen noise. There were only a few diners. But service was good, food good . Definitely be returning

My husband and I visited on a Thursday, mind you it was after 6 pm an there was only one other couple in the whole place. It took about 10 minutes to just get our drinks(dr.pepper&tea) an chips/salsa. We ordered our food for the evening as soon as she brought these items to our table. We waited another 40 minutes to just get 10 wings an fries for my husband an then chicken chimichanga for myself. Along with it taking that amount of time to get the food we also had to walk to the counter an ask for refills because the two waitresses were doing other things( one was on her phone an the other was standing at the registers doing nothing.) I love the food itself its always delicious but you would think with only 2 couples in the whole restaurant it wouldn't take a total of 50 minutes to have food on the table. I understand people complain an grip all the time but I for one have much respect for people who work in the public an food industry however if you have 4 employees (2 cooks an 2 waitresses) an only 4 people total in a restaurant their is absolutely no reason to wait that long for food little less those same customers having to get up an ask for refills/chips, etc.

3 stars for the guacamole and chicken tacos. 0 stars for the condition of the restaurant. It looks like it’s barely held up with plywood and screws from the kitchen to the side hallway where the bathroom is. There was a hole beside the toilet that seemed like the perfect peep hole. There is thick black dust covering all the ceiling fans. The kitchen looked SO gross! It was disgusting. I will never go back which is sad bc the guacamole is to die for!!!

Slow and super expensive for the same quality as taco bell

I have had lunch here twice now, and both times have been excellent!The restaurant boasts a wide variety of food options. It has the cuisine you would expect of a Mexican restaurant, but Mexi-Wing also has a section of their menu dedicated to American food like burgers, fries, and wings. This makes it a good spot to take family and guests that are divided on what to have for dinner.

This place was great. The staff was awesome. The food was amazing! I got the Speedy Gonzales lunch combo, and my wife had the lunch chimichanga. Both were great. The chips and salsa was very good and tastes very fresh.
