Love this place. When I'm looking for good food at a decent price and ready for a good sized meal when I'm in Athens, Monterrey Mexican Restaurant is always my first choice.

The cashier at the front got snooty and said "Oh you are one of them people who don't tip." to my Husband when he picked up our to go order. No sweety we do not tip unless we order in and you serve us. Tips are optional not required. If you do not like your job go somewhere else. Date 7/29/24 5pm.
ETA: Spoke with GM Brenda, we came to a resolution after she found the part of the video and the cashier said something about tips. Ty for hearing me out. Changing...

This is our favorite restaurant when we are having a date night it's our go-to❣️. The servers are always great.

Kid-friendliness: We have 6 kids they act out at times and no one has ever been rude about it and they always treat them so nice.
