12/28/25 @ about 730pm. Waited 5-10 minutes in line with one lady ahead of me with her two kids. That’s fine, not the issue. While she was paying for her order an internet order came through and I heard the worker tell the other one who was scrubbing the bathroom that an order with 5 sandwiches just came in. She proceeded to clean the bathrooms, which is also fine; surely he can handle making 5 sandwiches. He walks toward me, at the “order here” and tells me he will be with me in a moment and begins to make the 5 sandwiches. All I wanted was one six inch sub- very simple and quick. I walked out.

On 6/13/24, I ordered through the app 2 subs. One was made ok, but the other was no way near what I instructed to have on it. Unfortunately, I was home before I noticed that it was not what I ordered. Otherwise, I would have gone back and made them fix it. So extremely disappointed
Tammy and the whole staff are always polite and kind. Our food has always been fresh and above satisfactory. We always use the app, and our orders are always correct and delicious. Best subway we have ever eaten at.

Some Hispanic guy at Athens store had an ear bud in his ear and forgot my cookie and was not very welcoming into the store. This was the one by goodwill. Won't be going back to it.
It's hit or miss with the staff. There were some young men there a few weeks ago and they were really nice. Our last visit there was a woman who clearly did not want to be there.And I absolutely hate it when I tell them what I want on my sub and they respond "that's it???" with unnecessary judgment. Just make my sub, please.

Came to this one after I went to the other 1 and the same thing.No one in the lobby no one at the drive through no one waiting on anyone.

Ordered on the app. $50 something dollars worth. On my way to pickup my order, they called from one of there personal phones to tell me they cannot make the sandwiches because they were out of bread. This was around 7pm and they don't close until 10. They tell me to request a refund on the app. There is no where to request a refund on the app. Tried to call back and the store phone doesn't work. I called the number they called me from and was told that they dont have the authority to issue a refund. I would have to talk to manager. I was then told the manager would be off the next 3 days.This was over a month ago, and I still cannot get a hold of the manager. I've stopped by the store 4 times and was told the manager was out. I have asked the employees to have the manager call me. No one has ever called me. Also, this store doesn't have a working phone.I cannot find any customer service phone number or any other way to contact Subway customer service for help either. All numbers I've found are for Franchise information or technical support.A month later, I'm still out 50 something dollars. I will never use this Subway, or the Subway app again. I will probably never eat at any Subway again. Food quality keeps going down yet prices keep going up and this was the final straw.

Staff was very friendly. Place was clean! The staff didn't know what was on the BMT without looking at the menu. The lady mentioned something about the green bell pepper that night shift was doing something improper so makes the customer (me) think that they weren't fresh from today! Also there were NO drinks in the fridge at all! K maybe bc they just had opened about 30min prior... But you would think they would keep them in the fridge so I'm not sure.

Out of all the subways in Athens, TN this is the one I'd recommend. Walmart is too noisy and they only have one worker there that I've seen and the other location has some staff that hate their job almost as much as they hate you. This place on the other hand has friendly staff and typically makes a mean sub sandwich!
Vegetarian options: As long as you aren't getting meat it's vegetarian. Not sure how they can price it but I'm sure there are plenty of flavorful veggies for anyone who isn't picky. ? It would be nice if they had a tofu option though
