Takeout - Chicken is always decent and spicy. They're more of a volume business nowadays and lack the amazing fried chicken flavor of old. Potato salad and Mac and cheese are meh. Best fried pickles I've ever had! Service was OK, but woman at the counter was rude, but understandable because the guy in front of me was a jerk.
Still prepared like the original in Mason TN so don’t be in a hurry and you will wait for the chicken to cool down before you touch it. Perfect Cole slaw to go with Spicy chicken. Just creamy enough. Save room for the pecan pie.

The food, though freshly cooked and hot, was not as good as the Mendenhall Road location; the chicken was crispy but not to the same level. It was also too salty. The fries weren't seasoned. Service was excellent though!
