Listen, I wanted to give this place a better review, the guys at the counter were great, they were super friendly, but the food was horrible. I needed a quick bite on the way out of town, but honestly would have rather not eaten at all. The taco meat was insanely dry, the burrito was a wet mess, and the egg in the center of the burrito tasted like it had gone bad days ago. No matter how nice you are, the food always comes first.

Steak nachos are very small for the price and I also didn't receive any salsa and chips like other Mexican restaurants. I don't know if I'll come back but there food is fresh

Food not authentic Mexican. I had Pastor tacos and Street corn.
Pineapple needed on pastor with more cilantro and onions.
Corn should have been smoked or grilled of some sort.

This place is pretty good. I ordered the bean quesadilla. When it came out the beans were in a small bowl. The guy said the cook said he couldn't put the beans inside because they would come out when the quesadilla was cooked. Why is a bean quesadilla on the menu if you can't have the beans inside the quesadilla? I decided just to eat it. The beans tasted like they were burned. The plain cheese quesadilla was average.

The original Maciels was one of the best Mexican meals we have had, especially in town. This location had let me down the past few times... Just when I was was ready to give up on it, i was picking up some family to-go orders when I randomly added some tacos for myself... They were incredible! It pulled me back in. The service was also really good! It has earned some more chances.

The food was excellent! Very fresh lettuce, tomatos, mangos, avocado and cilantro. I had a Baja fish taco and the fried taco al pastor. Everything was so good and spiced perfectly. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great casual dining spot with authentic Mexican food and friendly service. My personal favorite is the birria tacos, but there are many things I haven't tried yet. Queso and salsa are also delicious.

Food was exceptional. Greeted immediately when I walked in the door. Street tacos both steak and chicken were excellent. Highly recommend for a quick casual Mexican fix. I'll be back

What a great place for a great meal at very affordable prices and an amazing flavor. This time in town I did not have a lot of time to stop for lunch. But thanks to this restaurant I had plenty of time and the food was amazing. I will come back every time in town. Service and hospitality were excellent too.
