Ragin' Cajun Reviews
The food was terrible. Very fishy and tasted like it came out of a box. I was excited about a Cajun place near me, but don’t bother!
🙂We've been there about 5 times now. I keep going back for the Crawfish Etouffee and other dishes. We're from New Orleans and know good NOLA food when we find it. The PO-BOYs are made with real French bread and the shrimp and oysters are properly seasoned (though the size of the over-stuffed sandwich is on the small side compared to some NOLA restaurants). Ragin' Cajun is a highly recommended restaurant known for its delicious Cajun dishes and friendly staff. Visitors praise the flavorful chicken and sausage gumbo, seasoned shrimp, and red beans and rice, which are often described as some of the best. The fried shrimp platter and roast beef Po boy are popular choices, with generous portions that make great leftovers. The Cajun dipping sauce is a favorite, and the sweet tea receives compliments. The staff, including servers and bartenders, are friendly, sweet, and very helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Some dishes, like the catfish, could use more seasoning, but overall, guests enjoy their meals and plan to return to try more of the menu. The Rougarou drink is also a hit with visitors.
