It was our delight while traveling the hills of Hwy 52 down through 131 into Gainsboro from MT. Juliet TN and the addition of Twin Lakes as our destination of fine dining and we are certainly happy with the experience of welcome hospitality and great food that enhanced our entire trip. Thank You Twin Lakes for such a pleasant place to visit and dine Awesome ?

Multiple employees around but only one server and one food runner for the whole restaurant . Those two were extremely busy without the help of any one else. When we asked for our waiter after 20 minutes of waiting without menus or silverware we were finally (rudely)told about the restaurants situation with staffing. Waited 45 minutes before drinks were brought to the table.food was great as always.

Great food for a great price. Hidden gem of a restaurant. Twin Lakes Catfish House was suggested to me by a coworker and was not disappointed. Well worth a stop at this out of the way place if you're in the area.

Went here after the falls. Wonderful friendly service and great food.
We ate on the back porch (with our dog) and enjoyed the view.
Catfish was fresh, hot and delicious.
Mozzarella sticks were real cheese and real good.
BLT was so large and had so much bacon on it my friend could hardly eat it. She said it was wonderful.
The grilled frog legs were delicious, tender and juicy.
Deserts - don’t skip this. The banana pudding was wonderful. Not too sweet.
Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service and a relaxed beautiful setting.
The brownie with ice cream was a big hit and the chocolate pie, oh my!

Very unprofessional. Rental guidelines do not make any sense and written in a way to confuse you. If you attempt to make contact with the owner to verify how it works, she will be extremely hostile and rude to you and even call you stupid for trying to clarify. Very thankful I didn't waste my paycheck on rent here. God is great. Never had the food because after figuring out how hateful and greedy the owner is, I would never dare support a business like this. I'm sure the original owners were great people and would be ashamed of how their property is being solicited.

Portions of food too small, catfish looked like a French fry. I ordered the 2 piece, my husband ordered the 3 piece. He also got okta as a side, very small portion.

Food and service is incredible.
Cost is reflective to the portions and do not forget to save some room for some homemade desserts.

I ate at Twin Lakes for the first time after a hike to Burgess Falls. The area was nice and peaceful, with a nice view overlooking a pond. There’s indoor and outdoor seating on a covered patio. I sat right inside the covered patio. There was plenty of parking for a Saturday afternoon in the summer. The service was nice and professional and food was inexpensive. I had their frog legs, deep fried pickles and catfish meal. The latter is not pictured but came with 2 catfish fillets, choice of bread and two sides. I had the hush puppies, fried okra, and veggies. The frog legs were my first time having them and I enjoyed them. The pickles were a bit too salty. It seemed they deep fried both the frog legs and pickles in the catfish batter which wasn’t my favorite. The catfish was good. The sides were ok. Overall the food was average. I probably wouldn’t go back if in the area.

Hands down, some of the best food I've had in a while! I couldn't stop talking about these favorites:
• Mozzarella sticks: They tasted like they were made in-house, with a perfectly deep-fried batter and gooey, melted cheese inside—no air pockets at all.
• Onion rings: Thick rings in all sizes, with a perfect golden brown batter and outstanding flavor—no dip needed.
• Fried shrimp, catfish, and chicken tenders: All served hot and perfectly cooked. Even as someone who isn't usually a fan of fried fish, I loved the catfish—it was exceptional. My son enjoyed the shrimp, noting their freshness and non-greasiness.
The portions were generous; I couldn't finish even half of my combo meal!
