“After our recent move to Baxter, we had noticed this coffee spot on HWY 70 a number of times, and finally today we decided to head over and give it a try. So glad we did, the coffee is delicious, the service was great, the owners were incredibly friendly and personable! Love it.”

“FINALLY a boast for fantastic food, service & prices! We went to Twin Lakes Catfish Farm for lunch today.To start off with Melissa was fantastic! She has a great personality & took care of us.. we lacked for nothing. We put our lunch orders in at the same time we ordered our appetizer & they weren’t brought out at a reasonable time after we got our appetizer, not with it. It shows she knows how to make sure her customers are able to enjoy the appetizers first.For the appetizers they are one for $7.00 or two for $12.50.We ordered the fried mozzarella sticks. It’s made with real mozzarella cheese battered and fried to a golden brown and served with marinara sauce. These were delicious. The cheese pull was amazing! Lol lots of cheese in them. I wish the marinara sauce was a little thicker, but that just my preference. This one was still good.All of the entrées come with two side items, and your choice of bread.I ordered the two piece catfish with white beans, and tater wedges. I chose hush puppies as my bread and a side of deviled eggs. $7.95 (I’m not sure if they charged us extra for the deviled eggs or not.)Approximately a quarter pound of fillets fried to a golden brown. Even though it was just two pieces those catfish were a large portion and they were season excellently. I’m extremely picky about hush puppies and these were hands-down one of the best that I have tried! The white beans were delicious and I loved the deviled eggs.My friend Charity Cruz ordered the hamburger steak. It’s a 12 oz. ground beef steak grilled and juicy $12.95 she chose the steamed vegetables, fried okra, and hush puppies as her sides.You can add grilled onions, mushrooms, or cheese $ 1.00 each.This hamburger steak was just as thick as it was round, and it was seasoned perfectly! I tried the fried okra. She loved it but I’m not really an okra fan, but it was ok. She said the steam vegetables were very good. Everything was seasoned perfectly. It had fantastic flavor. We went home with a to go box because there were so much food given.Unfortunately, we were not able to try any dessert.. because we were so stuffed from lunch!We will definitely be back to try something different or maybe the same items we tried today lolThank you Melissa.. you were fantastic!”

“They have the best ice tea! Also love their breakfast burritos. The brunette young girl that's a manager is so sweet. She talks so nice to people. As I stood back waiting for my food I watched her and she sure was hustling. Filling orders, taking orders and helping coworkers.”

“First time to stop by and not sure if I will be back. I have a dog and am not opposed to them so don't hate on me. However, I brought my new grandbaby here to relax and enjoy while we talked and caught up, but these animals constantly under my feet, smelling horrible from the rain and causing her to sneeze, this definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. They have a patio so why not enjoy the dogs under the outdoor cover? As a business owner I would recommend outdoor pets only! Just my thoughts but strong opinion that I won't be back.”

“I don’t have any photos because everything was so good. I bought 4 different treats. 1 cherry hand pie. 1 ginger molasses cookie, one ginger, molasses cream, cookie sandwich, and one chocolate cherry Amarillo cookie which were all gluten free and so good best gluten free treat I have tried. Everyone was so nice and informed us on their schedule. They also informed us that the west side grocery may have some gluten free bread.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating with a glue talent and they had everything labeled either gluten-free dairy, free vegan or no label if it wasn’t any of those.”

“This little place is just what Cookeville needed. Our group has been wanting to try it out and finally did for a birthday outing. I love the different variety of drinks. We each got something different and they were all delicious. The staff were wonderful, so sweet, and even brought our friend a dessert with a candle for her birthday. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a low key night with yummy drinks and fabulous atmosphere.”

“Just ate there for the first time today. I was the only one in the restaurant. I ordered a vegetarian plate and it was delicious! Made fresh and the baklava was superb. I hope they are successful because it is a great healthier option than what is mostly offered in Cookeville.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options and what I had I really enjoyed.”

“This place is a great find for the celiac person who has to be gluten free! I’ve been newly diagnosed, and it’s been hard finding places that have SAFE goods that are also flavorful! “Since the fire and rebuild, things have changed for the better. Food is terrific. I had crab cakes and cheese grits. Service was also fast and friendly. It is back on my favorites list of eateries. I even liked their selections of background music. My only complaint is that every time the door opened, there was a really cold draft. All else excellent.”

“Found this little place on our way to Florida. Very friendly man who owns the place also does all the cooking. His daughter, Doodle, served us and was super friendly. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent and the cole slaw was homemade and beyond any we've ever had. There is a pool table and jukebox. Our 8 yr old said he wanted to come back and eat on our way back home. Thanks for the great food!”

“Hidden gem! I've tried Pho from all around the globe (I travel for work) and this place makes my top 5. I live in the bay area (California) and have access to many excellent Pho restaurants, yet this place stands out. The Pho broth is excellent and there's a good amount of meat as well.Will make this place a must stop if i'm ever back in the area.”
