“First of all.. The people who work at this place are on another level of welcoming. I'm a truck driver, and I'm gone from home quite a bit. They always make me feel like a long-lost friend when I walk in.. I still can't believe you can get this level of authentic Mexican food at a truck stop with the CLEANEST restrooms!!Exit 288 off I-40 east in the TA travel center food court. It's fast, delicious, and they are the MOST beautiful people. (Try their queso Birria tacos)!! Exćellente'!!!”

“This place was soooo good. The Pearl is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The yellow fin, tots, and chips were excellent. The drinks were well made, strong, and reasonably priced. I was just passing through town but I'd be a regular if I lived closer. They had a family emergency and had to close early or we would have stayed longer. I hope everything is ok.”

“Food was okay. Scallops and Filet were undercooked and portions were fairly small with a higher price tag. Seems like they are trying to be more upscale, but you need better cooks if you want to charge more with smaller ”

“Shared a delicious meal with family. This establishment was comfortable and friendly. The food was delicious. I ordered the seven peppered steak salad with ranch, and loaded mashed potatoes. The food fare was “Fire.” ?We also had an appetizer of chicken bites and bread. I have to say the food here was absolutely amazing. Our service name was Alex.?He was very accommodating and gracious, and should be moving up the management ladder shortly if I was the executive manager due to his hostess capabilities and friendly chatter/banter, and southern hospitality. “I started going to Outback when they opened their first restaurant in Tampa, and later, the one in St. Pete was my ex-husband's family's go-to for family gatherings, so we went there a lot.I've never had a bad meal at any Outback. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating, and we enjoy the one in Cookeville, and those while traveling, just as much.My absolute favorites are the chopped salad with bleu cheese and pecans, the Bloomin' Onion, to which I'm mildly addicted, Alice Springs Chicken, and Coconut Shrimp.They have good coffee, a decent wine list, and several brews on tap, in addition to bottles.It's hard to go wrong.”

“The Cheese stick roulette is very good, and fun. Chicken was a tad dry, but was flavored as described. My steak was a perfect medium rare. Couldn't ask for more when it comes to the doneness of my steak, however was over seasoned with a strong soy sauce flavor that was a bit overpowering. The lobster tail was perfection! The service was great, the atmosphere was nice and cozy, perfect for a date night, no real complaints.”

“Strange. All the negatives I have read did not exist when I came to eat. I always try to give a place a chance and not go off what people say. Everything was clean. Service was excellent, flavors were spot on for real Japanese (not Americanized overly sugary flavors). I enjoyed my meal. It reminded me of my Aunt's flavors (when she owned a Japanese restaurant) which was little blast to my past. My son is a very picky with his food, and he loved the upon and filet mignon.”
