Walking up we are very disappointed to read that it was reservations only. As we were walking away, the hostess opened the door and invited us in and made room for us to eat. For our entrées, the lamb chops were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the Chicken Santorini was just as amazing. We’re currently avoiding sugar, so we had to admire the desserts from afar, but trust me — they are worth every bite. Nick’s homemade baklava and Kathy’s cheesecake are both legendary and truly to die for. “It was our pleasure to dine at the Cookeville, TN Red Lobster at 1410 Interstate Dr. on December 12. Although it was our first time, our guest at the table is a repeat customer. Our Server Denise did an excellent job of taking our order and delivering our food in a timely manner. Butch, Sheila, and Flo (Leaders and Manager) were beyond helpful to us. Justin, our guest, ordered his favorite meal, which included an entire lobster. My husband and I didn’t know how to break down a whole lobster so at that point, the manager came over, sat at our table and assisted in the process! In all my years, I have never seen such personalized service and kindness shown to a customer that really was in need of assistance. I highly recommend that you take your family to this restaurant and see for yourself the outstanding service offered by this crew of people! The kindness shown to us was beyond hospitality! It certainly was more like family! We wish you and all your staff a wonderful new year! Thank you again!”

“My husband and I’ve been meaning to go to irrationale kitchen for a year now. We finally had a time tonight to go and have a leisurely late dinner. We ordered the irrationale burger with a side of brussels sprouts, the wedge salad, and the chocolate cake for dessert! The hamburger was excellent! A nice smoked hamburger with barbecue sauce, onion rings, bacon, cheese, and all the toppings. I thought the brussels sprouts were delicious and the wedge salad was perfect. We’re glad we decided to opt for dessert. The chocolate cake was like a molten cake with an orange or citrus flavor with a scoop of ice cream that melted deliciously on the Nice warm cake. The service was great. Our waiter was attentive, and we will definitely be back! And the atmosphere was so nice that we could have a quiet conversation.”

There is a weird smell in there, but it could be coming from the huge pile of pizza boxes stacked behind the counter. I ate there one time. I the future, if there is one, I'll be taking the in a go box.”

“What a treat it was for me to be able to come and enjoy the Algood Diner while I was visiting my son at TTU this Easter weekend. The portions were of good size. The taste of the food was just like I would make at home. My coffee cup never was less than half. The staff was kind and caring with cheery personalities. The owner even came out to make sure everyone was happy and doing ok. Thank you to the owner and staff of the Algood Diner for making this breakfast experience and excellent one. It came with a dill spear and lovely little sugar cookie. Everything was great. I went at lunch time so the dining room was pretty busy. I barely say down, when someone brought my order to my table. There is only one restroom for women and one for men, so there was a line. The restroom was clean. Soap and towels were well stocked. The staff was very friendly. The food was great. I really like that they have several variations of chicken salad, and the bread options. I'll definitely be back. Good stuff!”

It had just the right amount of breading and the seasoning was perfect. The hush puppies were next level. Some of the best I’ve ever eaten. I always get coleslaw with fish and I was not disappointed. It is a creamy slaw just like I prefer. We live in Crossville and Bobby Q’s beats the brakes off of any place out here. We will definitely be back soon.”

The main downside is parking. It can be a bit tricky to find a spot, and without a dedicated pickup area, you sometimes have to rely on luck or wait for something to open up.
Aside from that, it’s a great place overall and definitely worth coming back to.”

“$10 for all you can eat lunch buffet, and a bottle of soda! What more could you want?! It’s the smallest buffet with just one table, but everything on it is so delicious. It usually has three or four different kinds of chicken like General Tsao’s chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, etc. plus a couple vegetarian dishes, as well as eggrolls, spring rolls, cream, cheese, wontons, and they often have some type of Indian tandoori chicken and of course fried rice and noodles. The buffet is only offered from around 11 AM until 2:30 PM but even if you come outside these hours, you can order any of their tasty items off the menu.”

“It was our first time to Spankies and I can say we will definitely go back. Our waiter Decklan was very personable and attentive! All the food was amazing. And the fried green tomatoes were the best I've had! My daughter had the fried chicken kabobs. The chicken was very juicy. It was a great find with no wait. Decklan was the best waiter we've had in awhile.
