Ny daughter and I were craving Italian. We stumbled on this place. When you pull up, it doesn’t even look like a restaurant. It’s in an old Victorian house. Walking up we are very disappointed to read that it was reservations only. As we were walking away, the hostess opened the door and invited us in and made room for us to eat. It was one of the best meals and service we have ever had!
My wife and I have dined at Mauricio's several times over the 15 years we've lived in Cookeville. The food is excellent, and the service has always been great. While it's not the best Italian restaurant I've been to, my wife loves it. We typically spend no less than $100 per meal, and on one occasion, we spent over $200. Usually, it's just the two of us, but we've also taken our children on special occasions.

Just an absolutely exquisite time every single visit. Chelsea and Andrew are some of the best servers that have ever waited on me. The Lasagna is absolutely phenomenal. I also love the ribeye, the spaghetti, the roasted potatoes. Just an overall outstanding quality all around.
