Gio’s Pizzeria is a locally owned restaurant near Cookeville. It serves solid brick oven pizza and true, authentic, wood fired pizza with fresh, top quality ingredients. The crust is some of the best, and the pizza is amazing, fresh, and among the best in town. Garlic knots taste freshly baked. Breakfast is also available, with a delicious sausage/egg/cheese bagel and a cheesy, amazing Hashbrown casserole. Lemon Sorbet, cold, sweet, and tart, is being worked on for a dessert menu. Service is great, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is amazing. The owner is kind and passionate about his craft, and the pizza artists are nice and engaging. This is not a quick, cheap chain pizza place. Gio’s will not disappoint.

My daughter & I went to Gio’s this morning for breakfast! My sausage/egg/cheese bagel was delicious & the Hashbrown casserole was cheesy & amazing!! Highly recommend trying their breakfast!

James and Ethan are true pizza artists. They’re also incredibly nice and engaging.

Now for the pies:

Absolute best pizza and wings we have ever had. Super sweet team. We watched them do several quality checks to make sure everything was at perfect temp (wings). Will be our new weekly spot for sure! Maybe even more than that 🤭
