Ruby’s Diner Reviews
We love their breakfast!! Fast service and the food is amazing!!!
We came in at peak lunch time, service was great and our food was prepared quickly. Our teenage boys had the HUGE double cheese burgers, one of them couldn't finish it. I had the best restaurant meatloaf I've probably ever had. My husband had the chicken salad croissant; the chicken salad was awesome and the grilled croissant was fantastic. All the portions were massive; I took half my meal to go.
Today, 4/12/25, was mine and my husband’s first experience with Ruby’s Diner. We went for the home style feel and breakfast. We had a small wait since the line was out the door. Ruby's Diner is a friendly and welcoming spot that offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant's breakfast menu features a western omelette oozing with cheese, peppers, and ground beef, as well as a breakfast plate with over-easy eggs, tater tots, and country ham. The food is consistently excellent, with the eggs perfectly executed and the taters scrumptious. Portions are generous, and the prices are affordable, making it a popular choice for many. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to make guests feel at home, often sharing laughs and ensuring everyone enjoys their meal. Customers praise the homemade food, especially the cheeseburger, which is fresh and hand pattied, not frozen. The diner is also wheelchair accessible, with a smooth ramp and ample space inside to navigate comfortably. The menu includes other classic diner fare, such as a huge burger that reminds some of the 70s when homemade and quality mattered most. The mac and cheese is light and delicious, and the coleslaw offers a tasty southern-style option. Many visitors mention that the western omelette and French toast are delicious, and the service is top notch. If you enjoy Waffle House but prefer a non-chain experience, this place is highly recommended for its down-home atmosphere and friendly staff who treat every guest like a friend. Overall, Ruby's Diner is a beloved local spot that provides a warm atmosphere, delicious homemade food, and excellent service, making it a must-visit for anyone passing through the area.
