Burgers were pretty good but the buns are a little too oversized. The fries were great. Some of the lettuce in the salad was pretty wilty. Typical bar atmosphere.

Got the catfish plate, which I'm 100% sure was the catfish fingers torn up and charged 20.49 - which I'm also 100% sure is plain a$$ cheap white fish... "Catfish" looks like it was probably made some time this afternoon. Cool to the touch. Definitely not fresh! Can't taste much of the "catfish" for the old oil crusted cornmeal. How do you make tasteless fish? This is my first and last time at this place. $4 delivery fee for picking up an order instead of eating in the restaurant. $43 for cold nasty food. Never again!

I wanted to not only speak about how wonderful the food is here, my recommendations would be any of the burgers, the coleslaw and the sweet potato fries are to die for! I wanted to also send a shout out to Trevor for accommodating my father's need for a printed menu. Not everyone can deal with qr codes to review menus. He brought us a menu that was maybe 3 x 4 ft tall. What a nice gesture. Thank you Trevor!

Food was good, I would give the food 4 out of 5. It was fresh and tasty. Service I'd give a 1 because it was obvious that the man that was the server and bartender didn't want to serve us. It was just two of us and he placed us in the corner. Took his time coming to take our order mind you there were only 4 other people in the entire restaurant and they had their food. We ordered drinks and he took so long bringing over our drinks that our food came right after he brought them. 2 new individuals came in and sat at the bar and he attended to their drink orders right away. When the 2 older ladies left, he wished them a good day and stated for them to come back. When we left he didn't even look at us nor say anything. My sister was angry but I was disappointed. I would've came back for the food but after how we were treated, I'd rather spend my coins where I am appreciated. Sad thing it was my birthday and we told him we were trying somewhere new for my birthday he didn't even say happy birthday. When I joined my friends after we left there, they asked me how it was because they wanted to try it out. I quickly told them, don't go because they aren't too friendly to African Americans. They quickly told me to write a review and now I have.

Generic but good; that's the easiest way to sum this place up. There's a million other places like this one, but it does a good job at what it sets out to do. As the name suggests, the burgers are probably the best thing on the menu. I had the jump back jack burger and it was really quite good although I think it would benefit greatly from adding some lettuce to give it a little crunch in every bite because it was very mushy. My wife had a shrimp po boy and had nothing bad to say about it, but said it was just a bout the same as every other one she's had. When I tried it, it seemed like they breading on the shrimp may have been a little better seasoned than some others I've had, and overall it was a good sandwich. The fries looked well seasoned and we're cooked well, but we're bland; I regret not asking if they had Lawry's seasoned salt. The jambalaya was the low point of the meal. Neither of us have had all that much jambalaya before but this wasn't really as expected and seemed pretty under seasoned for a Cajun dish. That said, the fries and Jambalaya weren't bad, they just weren't impressive; they just kind of existed as part of the meal. I'd recommend this place if you're in the area and want a burger or po boy, but I don't think it's worth going out of the way for.
