The waiter came to my table and told me there had been an issue in the kitchen and my order would be delayed for maybe 10-min.

It took us almost an hour to be seated after being told it was a 30 minute wait. I even asked the girl up front if we could break our party up and she said no because our group would still technically be 6. Group after group was getting called, even groups that walked in after us. I had to ask finally why we weren't being seated. Then after being seated finally, it took almost another 15 minutes to get a waitress. After two hours, we finally were out of there. This is only the second time I have left a bad review for a cracker barrel. And I would not recommend this location.

Went there and waited 10 minutes to be seated. When no one came I went to waffle house.

Updated 2024 review: downgraded from solid 5 stars. Our 35 minute wait turned into an hour and 30 minutes.11am we joined the wait-list on the app.12:30pm finally seated12:50pm food arrivedWe were a party of 5 and we were "next on the list", but there were 14 tables called while we were waiting because they were waiting on a bigger table for us, and couldn't just pull 2 tables together. We've come here consistently for 8 years and will not be coming back. It's constantly gone downhill. I'd rather go to Waffle House.Old 5 star review: Food is constantly good, service is a bit slow as the kitchen always seems to be behind.

My friend and I had been at the doctor's all day and we stopped to have us a bite. It was all delicious. Courteous waitress, friendly folks. It's my favorite cracker barrel!

Well, I rarely give a negative report that I want to make sure management hears from the customers. We came on Sunday at what we knew would be a busy time. They said it would be up to a half an hour, but it was 45 minutes. Definitely not the end of the world. It happens. When we were seated it took so long just to get water that we made sure to order when they came to the table for the first time. The server visited our table only three times in the hour and 15 minutes we were at the table. It took forever for the food to come. The food was really good as usual. Then upon leaving there was apparently some problem with the computer systems for the receipts because it wouldn't work when they tried to scan it at the registers. So we had to wait another 10 minutes just to get the bill system setup so that we could make payment. Don't know if that is a one-off problem that will ever happen again or not but it was a very unpleasant experience other than the main point of eating some good food. I just couldn't give a three. Would have given two and a half if I could.

Our server was Zina (sp) and she was fantastic! Very personable and provided excellent service! However, the food has really gone downhill. Chicken was cold and mostly breading. The mashed potatoes were hard and cold and the pinto beans were hard.Parking: The location in Brentwood/Cool Springs has turned most of their front spaces into pick up spots meaning most guests have to park much farther from the door.
