Uncle Julio's Brentwood Reviews
I made a reservation a week ago for a party of 5. We arrived on time and waited 20 minutes until we were seated while parties that came in after us without a reservation were seated first.
Once seated, we waited 10 to 15 minutes before a server arrived to our table. After that, it took 10 minutes until chips were delivered to our table. Then another 5 to 7 minutes before the salsa came.

Uncle Julio's Brentwood has a mixed reputation among diners, balancing great experiences with some disappointments. The atmosphere is described as wonderful, and the facility is very nice and spacious, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. Customers have enjoyed the friendly staff, and one mentioned the great service when reserving a pet-friendly patio, with the manager Kevin answering all questions thoroughly.
However, some diners have faced issues with slow service and forgotten meals. While many appreciate the delicious food, including the freshly made guacamole and the El Jefe margarita, others have found the chicken quesadillas lacking in taste and overpriced at $20. Reviewers have noted that the rice and beans can be cold, and the flour tortillas do not meet expectations when compared to other locations.
On a positive note, the Chilli Relleno (twisted) is highly praised as a must-try dish, and there are mentions of the addictive Mexican butter. Despite some complaints about the food quality and delivery issues, Uncle Julio's Brentwood shows potential to be a great restaurant with improved and more consistent service. Limited parking is available behind the restaurant, but there is ample space in the shopping center. Many customers express a desire to return to try more dishes, including the epic Chocolate Bomb dessert.
